I wanted to hire someone local, and found Dr Pot Light here. Philip answered the phone immediately, and was so pleasant to talk to. He listened to what what I wanted, educated me on a few things about pot lights, gave me his price and said my 17 ft foyer would be no problem. He came twice to our home to plan out the work, and started the job earlier than he said he would. Originally I only wanted pot lights in my foyer and the living and family rooms that had no ceiling lights at all. We were so impressed with Philip’s work and how beautiful the lights looked, that we ended up doing almost the whole house, including getting rid of out dated ceiling fixtures. We couldn’t be happier with the results, and are so pleased we hired Philip. We highly recommend Dr. Pot Light.

I had been putting off calling an appliance repairman because we have had bad experiences with contractors in general. Eventually I couldn't take my faulty oven anymore, and found Joe on this website after reading all the positive reviews. I'm so glad I did. I left him a phone message with my oven type, model no. and the problem, and he called back a few hours later to say he thinks he can solve the problem and could come the next day. He came the next day (on New Year's Eve!!), within the exact time frame that he said he would, with the parts he suspected he needed. It turns out that after receiving my phone message, he went and did his own research on my oven and what the problem might be, so he could bring the right parts with him. Keeping in mind that ovens are very make/model-specific, he had only worked on my oven type twice before in his long career, and he had not seen my oven yet so he did know exactly what the problem was ... he ended up being exactly right on what his original diagnosis of the problem was - and he had the parts in his supply so we did not have to wait for anything to be ordered. He was responsive, prompt, courteous, patient, and above all, extremely knowledgeable about appliances. I'm so glad we have found someone we can trust. If any other appliances in our house go on the fritz in the future, we will be calling Joe. Thanks Joe!
