GR from Newmarket

We had Keldan in to replace 3 windows. Then two sliding doors, Then 4 more windows. Needless to say, we have found them to be quite reliable and very good to work with. When we called for estimates we found they are "mid-priced"compared to others in town. Shawn did his best to walk us through the process and order windows which were appropriate for our home and keep us happy. The installers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We are slowly replacing all the windows in our house and we will continue to use Keldan because of the price and service.

The sewer ejector pump in our basement was on the fritz where it ran and ran without shutting off. I called Black Forest because I had seen their truck around town and knew they were local. The pump was old, and the plumber told me he could diagnose it for a cost or replace it. I thought it might be the switch, but the cost of replacing just that part on a pump I knew was about 10 years old seemed to be a bad financial bet. I opted to replace the pump. It was installed and done, very cleanly, after about an hour. They also put in a check valve where there hadn't been one before. The service was friendly and clean. I have a bathroom reno coming up and based on this experience I will probably call them back to do some of that work too.
