Lou was a pleasure to work with right from the beginning. He really takes pride in his work and explains the whole process without “talking down” to you, as I have experienced with other contractors. My partner and I have our bedroom/bathroom in our basement as our second floor of our Leslieville semi is tenanted. We went ahead with a full scale basement Reno to update the space and make it more functional for us. Our ductwork ran directly down the centre of the basement and impeded on the headroom and living space. I knew we weren’t going to underpin so relocating the ducts was the next best thing. Other HVAC people said it couldn’t be done; but Lou and his team were able to create new custom duct work and run it under the window wall rather than us losing lighting from the windows. He listened to what we wanted and was clear about what could be done and what couldn’t. He was creative in his solutions and came back once it was done to ensure we were 100% satisfied. Highly recommended and will use Lou again if we have future needs.

Michael did a home inspection for myself and my partner before we purchased an older home in Toronto. Michael was very thorough and willing to talk through the inspection the entire time. He showed us problem areas, and also provided advice for how to fix it (and approximate cost). The report we received afterwards was written with us in mind, which provides information that will be invaluable to us as first-time buyers. Unlike the home inspection report that we received from the seller, Michael's included solutions to the problems found. An invaluable service and more than worth the money! Highly recommended.
