When I moved into my new house we had a few items on our list that needed to be addressed and the 2 bathrooms were at the top of my list. To say that they were in need of an update would be an understatement as I have no idea how the previous owners could have continued to use the facilities in their current state. Our house is about 60-70 years old and i am pretty sure that the upstairs bathroom had the original skirted iron tub, wall and floor tiles. the basement bathroom was even worse. In the basement there were parts of the sink held together with duct tape and random holes in the plaster wall behind the toilet that could not be explained. Condition aside I would have to say that Get it Done managed to turn the bathroom situation in our house into my two favourite rooms, as those are the only two we have completely re-done top to bottom. We had a lot of challenges in the work we wanted to do as the basement bathroom was extremely small and we wanted to include a stand up shower, and we didn't want to change the configuration of the upstairs bathroom, but we wanted to add a lot of "utility" to the space. Get it Done did a great job delivering on everything we imagined for our space. As always there are stumbling blocks that we came across in the process and even though there were some unexpected costs my wife and I found that the guys at Get it Done gave us their recommendation for the best solution, but in the end left it up to us as to how we wanted to proceed. I wish all of our contractors did that as We still want to be able to decide how the work gets done as opposed to just trying to decide if the bottom line makes sense. In the end we got everything we wanted, within our budget (which included planned overages) and our two bathrooms are absolutely perfect. The most amazing this about the reno was getting the old 300 lb bathtub down from the upstairs bathroom after I had already refinished the floors without any damage. I expected they would have said it couldn't be done, but it was. I would recommend this company 100%. I will be calling them when I am ready to do more... as long as they are willing to tackle the demo. the demolition in my bathrooms was a nightmare. the company who built the tile walls put 3 inches of concrete behind the tile.
