I have had Gess security for about 10 months now and they are amazing. I am only home 2 weeks a month and my wife is home by herself. I got the security system so that my wife could feel more safe when I wasn't around. I had to do a renovation on my North Vancouver house (rental property) after some tenants caused major damage to it. I planned to sell the house and needed a quality job done in a short period of time. Being a tradesman myself (an electrician), I was hesitant to hire someone else to do work I knew I could do myself but I work in Northern Alberta and wanted to get the house on the market ASAP. I contacted three contractors and Mark, the owner of Alta Vista, was the only contractor that informed me of a few preparation details that I over looked, which would have been an issue if I did attempt the project myself. Mark was courteous, presented himself in a professional manner, and was the tradesman that actually did the work on my house. I had Alta Vista re-paint the interior of my 3000 sq ft home , replace and paint baseboard moldings, change the carpet for hardwood flooring (which included concrete repairs and leveling), as well as match and replace some damaged bathroom shower tiles. His housekeeping during the renovation was what you would expect, but rarely see during a renovation (which made my wife happy). Since I was out of town working, I required daily progress reports to ease my mind. Again, Mark was very professional and courteous. Alta Vista completed the scope of work on time as well as on budget. Since the renovation, the house sold within two months of being on the market and I have hired Alta Vista to do a similar renovation to another rental property I have.

It's not often I turn to the internet to hire a contractor. Sadly none of our family friends knew of a Siding Company in Vancouver. We're happy to say we're now a happy customer providing references and photos of our house to their future customers :-)

I hired Greenscape Design Ltd to take out an old walkway and replace it with a larger, more intricate interlocking patio paver design. They came promptly when contact and provided several quotes. They offered excellent guidance on design, paver choice, sand, and provided an accurate timeline to complete the work. The entire process was extremely professional. They made sure I understood the entire process and offered feedback during the job so I was happy all the way through. The quality of the design and complicated cuts were simply flawless. This is a terrific, highly experienced father and son team. They have 25 years experience, and it shows. Fair, honest, and high caliber work. I couldn't ask for more. Wonderful experience.
