This is the third time I have had Paul do masonry repairs. I had some crumbling bricks on my garage due to a sidewalk slope/drainage issue. Damski Masonry removed the old bricks (or what was left of them) and replaced them and parged the side of the garage below ground level where there is a garden, to prevent moisture absorption. I find Paul and his company do good work for a reasonable price and would recommend him for any of your masonry needs.

Andrew has done the snow removal for our church for 4 or 5 years (I can't recall exactly!). We are extremely happy with the service he provides. We sign the contract in the fall and then forget about it, knowing the snow will be removed promptly. As we are not a large church with a big budget so we find Andrew's rates to be very competitive and, combined with the excellent service, a very good deal. The May 4th windstorm damaged my roof so badly it made more sense to have a completely new roof installed. The only problem was that half of Toronto was in the same situation. I called Professional Roofers.com, they said they would have someone come as soon as possible. It took about 10 days to have someone come out to look and give me an estimate but in the meantime they contacted me to let me know that I had not been forgotten, they were just very busy. I appreciated this as other companies I had contacted either did not respond or took even longer to get back to me. Adam came to our house and gave us a very detailed, professional presentation and laid out several options for us. It was a no pressure presentation and he was very clear that there would be a 6-8 week wait for installation as they were very busy. Again, I appreciated his honesty, I have neighbours that were made promises by other companies just to get them to sign and then they had to wait longer than promised. After I settled with my insurance company I booked the installation. The crew came on the day promised and took two days, as promised. The roof looks great. I would have given a 10/10 ranking but there were a couple of finishing details (minor, nothing to do with the roof quality) that I thought should have been taken care of that were overlooked until pointed out by me. To their credit they sent a crew back within a couple of days, addressed the issue and made sure I was satisfied. I appreciated the prompt response and professional approach. I have no problem recommending this company.

I used Homestars to contact three contractors to get a quote on repairing my chimney and doing some repairs on my garage wall. One contractor didn't even bother to get back to me, the other would only quote on a complete chimney rebuild. Paul responded almost immediately, came over within a couple of days and gave me a quote and complete explanation of what needed to be done. (After he went up on the roof and did a thorough inspection). When it came time to carry out the work I was out of town so Paul sent me pictures of the completed work to let me know everything was taken care of. During the work he noticed a couple of small areas on my house that needed attention and he fixed those as well, at no extra cost (he said he had the mortar already mixed so it was no problem). I have no problem recommending Damski Masonry for your needs.
