I needed to change an old coal/oil furnace to an new efficient gas boiler . I phoned several heating and air conditioning contractors and chose 'Laird and Son', because of the initial professional customer service that I received on the phone from Kim. My questions were answered, I wasn't put on hold and/or passed around from person to person avoiding questions, (like a few others that I had phoned who wouldn't answer any question until somebody came to the house). From the initial phone call to the visit to my home from their salesman 'Ron' who was so helpful, patient and answered my questions on this conversion. Ron was not pushy, and didn't rush me, and gave me the details of how they would take charge and make arrangements to make the conversion to a gas boiler in a timely manner and it would be more efficient. I wondered if the sales would match the service. YES, it did! The service was excellent provided by Dave and Mack who were friendly, professional, efficient and respected me and my home. They explained to me what was going to happen with the removal of the old tank and furnace and what to expect with the new boiler being installed. They explained to me what I needed to know. At the end of the day they left the furnace room and area clean and tidy, leaving me with a new efficient furnace. The gas inspector came the following day and complimented on the excellent work that was done. Thank you very much Kim, Ron, Dave, and Mack for an excellent job.
