They came, were super professional and took the time to really repair our furnace to help keep my family nice and warm and more so safe during a pandemic. I have worked with Chris and the team of J & Hao Home Design and Build Ltd on a smaller project 6 years ago, and I was so impressed that I couldn’t wait to find a way to work with Chris and his team again.  Fast forward to a year ago when we were buying our new home, to say it was a diamond in the rough was an understatement but I could see the potential of what it could be. Immediately, I called Chris and his team and explained I had a bigger project I was hoping to work with him on. In the past when it came to projects and quotes I was faced with contractors who would disappear, or just simply told my project would take longer than I was willing to wait / or more than I had budgeted for; that is what makes Chris and his team so exceptional: they show up when they say they will, the project falls within the timeline how Chris advises and they work with you every step of the way. No matter the challenge that may come up, Chris and his team handle it professionally and in a reliable way that allows the challenge to be resolved correctly and for the long term. Chris is very fair and honest with the quote and scope of work needed to do the job right. He gave me options of what I was looking for and advised on construction tips to increase the longevity of the project and in some cases save money so I could reallocate back to the project.  I am always AMAZED by J & Hao Home Design and Build Ltd’s work ethic, not only are they there when they said they would be, but the team worked about 8 hours a day 6 days a week until the job was done! Doing all the heavy lifting to get the job done ( every day that I came home I was blown away by how much the team accomplished) they truly do not make people with the work ethic that Chris and his team have anymore, let alone with their attention to detail and skillset. Chris and I ironed out pricing and the schedule of work before he began and he stayed on budget, and on time, there were no surprise/hidden costs or delays that came up which my husband and I were beyond impressed with. From each project we found ourselves finding new ways to work with Chris and his team because of how much we trusted them on the job; knowing the job we asked for would not only get done correctly, but would always be beyond our expectations ( and still on budget!!) Chris did every project and job spectacularly and went above and beyond in the details. Each day as we approached one project ending, I would quickly find another project to be done because Chris was just that good.  I truly look forward to the next time we get to work together because he is fantastic; one of the biggest challenges I find with working with anyone is their quality of work, and who they are as individuals, well in Chris’s and J & Hao Home Design and Build Ltd’s case you do not have to worry: they are honest, reliable, trustworthy, professional, kind, knowledgable and exceptionally talented. ANY project you may have inside the house or outside the house, I strongly recommend Chris and J & Hao Home Design and Build Ltd and have already recommended Chris to several friends and neighbours and will do so for many years to come. On our recent home purchase we were made aware the need to waterproof the exterior side of our home. Everyone knows this can be an expensive and timely aspect to undergo. After receiving three quotes we went with Aqua Tech because of their knowledge, expertise, experience and the extensive breakdown of what was needed. Nico ( my rep) took the time to come by and explain to me everything that was going to take place, in detail and care. We chose to go with Aqua tech not just because it was the most reasonable quote but because of how honest Nico was with us about what was involved, and if there was a need to have additional costs we would be advised vs oversold. The other companies overcharged and wanted to sell us products we didn’t need. What was so amazing was that the two technicians who came did the job by hand!!! We share an interlocking driveway with our neighbours and the team took every stone out by hand, delicately moved them by hand to a safe place and left the area cleaner and safer than when they found it. I am very happy I went with Aqua Tech, who were able to waterproof our home before winter. Nico was amazing, knowledgeable and took the time to really detail the project out. I couldn’t recommend this company enough and very grateful Nico was our main point of contact!

Horrible customer service. It's a shame as we had a long term relationship. Its important to get the scope of work ahead of time in order to best decide if you want to work with them on repairs.

I have been a long term client of Heating Ontario thanks to Or and his team’s excellent, fast, reliable and affordable services. I first hired Heating Ontario for duct cleaning when I moved into my first property. Or’s team came over quite quickly and were very knowledgeable and professional in what needed to be done easily able to explain to me the process and what was involved. From there I have stuck with Heating Ontario for YEARS! From furnace and air conditioner repairs in my old property where Or came quickly to help repair a furnace in the dead of winter when it died ( during the ice storm a few years ago no less) to my AC compressor conking out on the hottest day of the summer. On my most recent move I honestly can say RJ went above and beyond his scope of work and with no exaggeration saved my home and potentially our lives. RJ came in for a simple duct cleaning service, however what he accomplished was so much more. Our ducts were FILLED with dry wall, the dryer vent was backed up with so much lint it filled our driveway but the real kicker was he discovered a gas leak in our furnace that the home inspection didn’t catch. A part of our furnace was broken and slowly and consistently leaking gas into our home making it not only dangerous and unhealthy for us to be in but a potential explosion just silently laying beneath us. Although this sounds like an exaggeration it is not. RJ phoned Or who immediately came the next day replaced and fixed the issue and took it upon himself to take a look at our other equipment in order to ensure we were not at risk for other potentially dangerous and expensive issues down the line. When I tell you this company is the only company I will ever deal with in terms of water heaters, duct work, air conditioning and furnace issues/repair/maintenance this is THE ONLY company I will ever use. Thank you for creating a team of true professionals Or and thank you for providing an affordable and realiable company for the safety of my home and family. Heating Ontario is upfront and honest with what their fees are before the project begins ( no surprises with the bill) and I truly believe they are a minimal investment in order to prevent an expensive repair in the future. If you are ever needing any work whether preventative, maintenance or repair Heating Ontario is the only company you will ever need to call!

WOW!! We were blown away by the professionalism of this company and the job they did. The team was courteous, professional, diligent and respectful to us and our home. The job itself was unbelievable; I have fallen back in love with our home by a simple fresh coat of paint. Originally we just wanted to repaint our home for resale purposes, however when we were scheduling the appointment we decided to paint a little earlier so we could enjoy the new look too (and WOW are we ever glad we did). The team was friendly, knowledgable and respectful of our time and home. In true WOW fashion they were upfront with their roles, and would regularly check in with myself and my husband confirming they were meeting all of our expectations. Our home is a 2500sqft townhouse, the team arrived promptly at 9am and truly were finished the entire job from top to bottom by dinner time. The team themselves treated our home as if it were their home, communicating the entire way, were considerate of our animals, and their clean up after the job was UNBELIEVABLE. To have a team of professionals walk in with about 50+ years of painting experience between them really showed in their work and care ( and made me rethink ever using anyone else before them). The best part, we felt safe with the team, the entire process redefined home improvement for us. At the beginning they were 7 strangers who entered our home, but we quickly became on a first name basis with each team member and it just added to the dream of the day. The booking process was easy and not intimidating ..this is a company that works with you and within your budget, not overselling with an overinflated price. I am proud to have the WOW 1 Day Painting sign on my front lawn, and was eagerly showing off the job with neighbours while the team was still working away. It was the worst situation one could imagine. Coming home from being out of town, to a broken, and flooding toilet. In came Rick from Mr. Rooter plumbing to save the day. Literally. He also educated me on several ways to keep all the plumbing in my house in the best possible shape.
