While shopping around, many other companies came back as less expensive than Air Force, but they were personally recommended to me by a friend and their reviews spoke highly of them, so I decided to pay the extra amount and see. In short, they delivered as promised. In my view, it was worth the extra money. The technician, Caco, and his younger colleague (whose name has now escaped me) were both very professional and polite. They explained everything they were doing. They didn't try to upsell me on anything. They took before and after pictures to show the work. They dealt with various unexpected things like challenges accessing the AC unit without issue. And, perhaps most importantly, they were incredibly thorough. The difference was noticeable immediately. Putting my nose over the air vent after they left was like breathing fresh outside air. I'm was pleasantly surprised. The final price was exactly as quoted (they even threw in an additional discount as couldn't fully use one of their package deals, which was respectful and appreciated). Both the office staff and the technicians were very responsive to communication, both via email and phone. They arrived exactly when they said they would and completed the work in about 2 hours, exactly as planned. In many cases, paying extra for services is just paying for "brand" and feel good, but the service is the same as other lower cost services. I can confirm that, in this case, the extra money translates into higher quality, better service, and I'm pleased by the result. I would use them again and I feel good about recommending them to others.

A 4inch water main that feeds about 40 townhouses in our condominium complex broke in the middle of the night early on a Sunday morning. DrainCity Plumbers was able to put together a team on short notice to dig down 12ft below ground level, by-hand (since a backhoe couldn't fit in the location), and replace the broken pipe section, restoring water to over 200 people. We are grateful for their quick response. The work was professionally done, they provided all appropriate licenses and permits, and were available for follow-up questions. My only small gripe is that I had to reach out for updates. A bit more proactive communication would have put me more at ease. Nevertheless, the replies were quick. Our contact, Bob, clearly knew the industry well and had completed many similar projects in the past, so it all fell neatly into place. Thanks Bob!

Our condo complex of 115 units had one of its 3 water mains burst in the middle of the night, leaving around 40 units without water. When it was discovered in the morning, I immediately contacted Mr. Rooter for help. I spoke with Pam on the phone a couple of times who was incredibly helpful and pleasant. She made it clear that emergency help was on the way. Within 25 minutes, a Mr. Rooter plumber was on site and he began diagnosing the situation. Not long later, a supervisor arrived and took charge of the situation, providing detailed explanations for me and calling in all the relevant contractors to take care of this major job right away. 4 people with heavy equipment worked 16 hours, well into the wee hours of the night without rest to restore water to our condo residents as quickly as possible. All the contractors that they brought on board for the project were professional, polite, clear, and reasonably priced. Once everything was repaired, Mr. Rooter offered us flexible payment options and helped us prepare the relevant documents for our insurance claim for the water damage to nearby properties. We greatly appreciate the quick turn around and professionalism of the whole team. I've hired Mr. Rooter in the past for small household jobs. I was very pleased to see that they are just as excellent at handling major jobs as well. It's rare to find this high level of professionalism in the trades.
