Paul renovated the main bathroom a few years ago and the work was so impressive we recommended to several people and decided to utilize his skills to overhaul our ensuite bathroom. If anything, it is even more dazzling than the first. Both times the reno was right down to the studs, everything new. Paul is industrious, organized, exacting, honest and a treat to have around. I value his opinions when decisions need to be made. There were challenges (the walls weren't square so the vanity didn't fit at first, the wrong shower pan was shipped) and every time, Paul and Shannon made it more than right. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome. Functionally and aesthetically, it's wonderful. Further, when we visited vendors to choose components and mentioned who our contractor was, everyone was positive and enthusiastic, a real testament to the reputation of Bathroom Design Build. We believe the price we paid was more than fair: you get what you pay for. If a job is rushed and cheap, then the results will be disappointing - that's just logic. Paul works incredibly hard and does beautiful work - highly recommend.

We had a Lennox high-efficiency furnace installed by Milani recently. We’ve used them in the past (they replaced our hot water tank a few months ago). I liked the choices we had in brand options. We chose the more expensive one. The installers were knowledgeable and worked hard. It’s a tricky installation because we’re in a townhouse complex so there are insurance and strata rules. Milani did an excellent job, and there’s even someone who is helping with the Fortis BC rebate paperwork. There was a mix-up with the crew the first day (the installer hadn’t received all the information he needed) and when they left, the gas to the hot water tank hadn’t been reconnected so we were without hot water until a tech came to fix it. But they did fix it, and phoned to see if everything was satisfactory, and they stand behind their work.

We've had Andy and Anna here twice: first (about 6 months ago) to repair the seized washer, and recently to work on the stove (malfunctioning oven temp). Andy showed us what was wrong with the washer (trapped debris), showed us how to prevent the problem happening in future, and fixed it quickly and efficiently. They are quite the team - she hands him just the right tool as he needs it, writes out the invoice as he's explaining... He is incredibly knowledgeable and has lots of useful information and advice about other appliances along the way. The stove was only 3 years old but Andy told me after phoning around "Even with my discount on parts, it'll cost more to fix it than to get a new one. Unplug it for 3 days and if it's not better, here are some places to get a new stove." So we had good information and were able to make the right decision. They're clean and tidy, Covid-conscious, polite, and very reasonably-priced.

We got new blinds for 3 big windows in our 17-year-old townhouse, replacing standard 1" aluminum blinds. The salesperson at the Coquitlam location, Alessia, was terrific. The person scheduling the installation was personable when she called. The installer, Mike, was skilled, professional and knowledgeable when he measured and during installation. And oh my goodness, what a difference!! We got 2" off-white wood-look blinds and I wish we'd done this years ago. We are amazed at how it updates and brightens the rooms' appearance. The price was great, even compared to online. Highly recommend.

Paul renovated our master bathroom and we absolutely love it! It is just gorgeous - better than we even imagined it could be. Paul is skilled, precise, and talented, with high standards and a trained eye in both building and design. It was a challenging job, but Paul and his team finished our bathroom, taking challenges in stride, on time. His fee was reasonable. Paul asked us our preferences and tailored the design as we went along in minor ways where it made sense. Paul works full-out every day, with an impressive work ethic. He was polite, good-humoured, considerate, tidy, organized, and the site and workspace was always clean. It was a very pleasant experience. Rob, working with Paul of Bathroom Design Build, installed the tile in our master bathroom and we are thrilled with it. We worked out a design that complemented the style, size and other pieces in the room and Rob put it together beautifully. The floor, walls and accent tile design and installation are flawless. Rob’s work ethic was exemplary - focused and diligent, with absolutely beautiful results. It’s perfect.
