Our Dishwasher wasn't draining, after checking to see if there was anything blocking it, I didn't know what else to check. We called Sam, he arrived a couple of days later at the time he said he would. He figured out that the pipe was blocked where the dishwasher pipe joins the main drain. He disconnected the tube, unclogged the pipe and reconnected it. He then ran the dishwasher to check to make sure it was still running. I was very pleased with his service, I was just a little upset at how much his labor cost. He was there for only 20 min, no parts were needed and the cost was $120. I knew that it was $80 for the initial service/visit, but didn't know how much it would be after that.

We had an outdated main bathroom and once we realized that the toilet was also leaking into our dining room below, it prompted us to do a full bathroom renovation. We had 4 different contractors come and give us a quote but decided to go with The Home Improvement People, as they had a very straight forward quote which clearly outlined how much everything would cost and if we wanted any extras once the work started, we knew exactly how much more it would be. They gave us a start date but said they may be able to start earlier. They were able to start 2 weeks earlier and finished extremely fast. Originally we were thinking it would take 2 weeks to do (as that is what we were told by all the other contractors for a bathroom renovation), and they were done in 3 days!! They kept a clean work site, worked hard, and were very professional to deal with. About a month after the work was done, we noticed that the powder room toilet (we also replaced the toilet in the powder room) was leaking. We called them on Sunday, they showed up on Monday with apologies, fixed it within 1/2 hour and left. They stand by their work and if there are problems afterwards, they fix it without any hassle!
