Jay and Zach were the only company willing to take on the herculean task of dismantling and rebuilding my 3rd floor roof deck, and I'm so glad they were! Because it is a row house, there is no access to the deck except through the house, meaning every piece of the old build and every new piece of wood had to be brought, by hand, down and up 2 flights of stairs. Not only did they undertake this without complaint, they did beautiful work, covering up a number of house-based issues. We've had nothing but compliments on the deck, both in person and in pictures, and it will surely be a selling point for any potential buyer in the future. For now, we get to enjoy this beautiful oasis in the city.

I needed custom laminate countertops for my basement rental apartment. Charlie and Raymond were terrific, allowing me to browse all the samples and telling me the pros and cons of the different edges and finishes. THey even found me some larger samples in the back to take home and compare to my cabinets. Fabrication was quick and easy and the price was great. Recommended!

Dimitri was an absolute pleasure. His work is impeccable - you can tell he's a pro right off the bat. He made great suggestions as to the tile to use, he levelled a section that would have otherwise been impossible, and he laid a beautiful looking tile floor overtop of the most uneven basement floor you could imagine. Probably saved us 10 thousand or so from not having to dig out and repour the floor. Not only is his work terrific, he is always on time, he cleans up better than even I do, and he's always communicative. Can't recommend him highly enough.

John and Paul came to level a second floor bedroom which had become very slanted. They removed the old subfloor, sistered all the joists to create a level surface, and laid a new plywood subfloor. It was all done very quickly and easily and cheaper than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any other carpentry needs I might have.

Joanna and her colleague came and did a terrific job cleaning my Victorian home from top to bottom. They were prompt and thorough, and went beyonf what I was expecting. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

John and his equally competent colleague Paul came to level a sloping subfloor in my house. Despite illness, the project was completed on time and on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to call BBG again and will recommend to anyone who asks.

Recently moved from the main floor of an old victorian to a full victorian, both downtown in Toronto. Got an appointment with Joe and they showed up right on time (even a little early) for our Saturday morning move. Having never done a move using movers before I was a little apprehensive but with Joe I felt entirely at ease. He assessed the room and he and his guys efficiently transferred everything to the truck. I didn't think there was any way it would all fit but Joe should be a Tetris champion - he got it all in safely and securely. No damage to any of the items or the house. He followed me to the new place and we outlined a system to identify each room so his guys could deliver each item to the right place. They were unloaded quickly, again no damage or anything. They even got my arcade machine (probably weights 500-600 pounds) up a flight of stairs. Joe was honest and straightforward, knew his job and did it well, and his guys worked quickly and efficiently. The price also couldn't be beat for a legitimate company. I would recommend him to ANYONE looking to move without hesitation. Terrific job, can't stop raving about it.
