The Winside team did a great job on installing four windows and three doors. They were able to do all requested installs and offered suggestions on products which would best suit my situation. They showed up on time and completed the job within the given time frame. The trim install also turned out great. I'm Incredibly happy with how the doors and windows look and perform. I would highly recommend Winside to anyone considering getting new windows or doors.

Recently purchased a new fridge and decided to keep the old one and move it into the basement. Once the fridge was in the basement it no longer cooled. Called Kenny and he was able to come quickly and diagnose the problem. He accommodated my schedule, called me when he was coming, arrived on time and fixed the problem. Over five years ago, I had a leak in my basement due to excess water. We contacted G J MacRae to perform the work. Because the basement was finished, it was recommended that the leak be fixed from the outside. They were able to start quickly and The guys were able to dig (by hand) around the bushes and repair the leak from the outside. The job was completed in two days and the yard was left very clean. To this day, we have not had a leak in the basement since they fixed it. G J MacRae did a great job and I would recommend to everyone. Thanks guys! Ryan & Natalia

About Town Electric I don’t want to “mess around” with electrical work, so I like to trust it to professionals, which is why I contacted About Town. I’ve used About Town three times now to perform electric work on my house: 1) Update the outlets from aluminum to copper wiring 2) Add new outlets and lights into our remodelled kitchen 3) Install pot lights in the basement as well as switch our fuse box to a breaker box. I dealt primarily with James and April for all of these jobs. James is great and is always happy to explain what is being done. From quote to job completion, it has always been a good experience with them. In addition, they will pull the work permits from the city so it’s one less thing for me to do. I will always contact About Town when I need to have any electrical work done. NOTE: approx. cost is based on all work above over the past few years that I’ve used them. I was planning on removing some stucco from my walls and ceiling in the basement. After reading some articles online, I found out that homes built in the 1970s could have asbestos in the stucco. I read good reviews for Templar on this site and sent them an email. Robert called me back immediately and set up an appointment to collect some samples. He was very accommodating to my schedule and was able to come on the weekend. After the analysis was complete, he called me up to discuss the results. It contained ~10% asbestos. While I did not have the money at the time to remove it, he gave me the peace of mind stating that unless the stucco was disturbed, it was not a concern. Robert never tried pushy/scare tactics to try to get my business for removal, which I really liked. A year later, I was in a better financial situation to have it professionally removed. I called up Robert and he (again) was very accommodating to come to my house on the weekend to provide me a quote. Two weeks later, Templar’s removal team (Warren et al.) was able to remove all the stucco from my basement. I was extremely happy with how Warren and his team were able to perform the work within the timeframe quoted and that he kept me informed during the entire process (as I was at work while the removal was happening). I am very happy with the work performed, price, and experience dealing with Templar. I highly recommend the company to other who are looking at dealing with asbestos removal.
