GRANITE DIRECT EDMONTON To my dismay and my disappointment, I've decided to write a review with mixed feelings. Kris and Rav were great in helping to provide solutions to a very small job. Bathroom turned out fabulous but the waiting process has been gruesome. Kris promised to cut a step for my shower stall in February and it is now September. We have not been able to use our ensuite shower since February. We started this process October 10th, 2013. It was April 2014 when it was just completed except for the step. I have been extremely patient and I understand Granite Direct moved and things were behind but its the middle of September now and no step. I feel I'm been more than understanding by waiting this long. I went to see Kris 10 days ago to inquire about the step and he assured me I would have the granite step completed within a week. I made a follow up call 2 days ago and I have not heard from him. The receptionist assured me, as they usually do, that he would call back in an hour. It is now 2 days later so very sadly, this is the very first review I've ever done and I'm not happy about it at all. This is not the only thing that has occurred in the past 9 months. Every time I call and leave a message, I NEVER get a call back. I called in May to let them know that my granite counter top was loose and moving. NEVER HEARD from Granite Direct. My husband ended up placing a wedge in it so it wouldn't move our granite and back splash. Note to anyone getting granite in their home from GD, they do not use any adhesive to secure your granite. Well at least for ours they did not. Their customer service stops once all is paid. I recommended GD to a lot of people but now I'm rescinding all of it. Someone I knew had used GD and had the same problems. Even though I love my granite and my cabinets and they have always been friendly they never call back or address any situation. So good luck to you if you decide to use them. I would've given them a 5 for their quality of materials but I've downgraded that to a 2 for customer service. Very disappointed.
