First impression often makes a big difference and is what opens the door for subsequent "chemistry" between a client and a service provider. George, the owner of the business, was the only rep of a handful of companies I contacted for an estimate who provided professionally prepared detailed drawings with a cost breakdown, along with a manufacturer booklet of available options. It's rather important to be able to visualize what to expect vs just imagination based on various pictures everyone may have in mind. What also convinced me to proceed with LifeStyle Oasis was that to the question about how many days it normally takes to complete a project of such complexity (in my case, three walls and a roof must have been built), George's response basically was "as long as it takes to get it done right". The work began as promised in about two months after signing a contract. Employees of the company (note: not subcontractors !) Greg and Brian know their business in and out. Greg's competence and skills are simply outstanding. While the technical aspect and quality of work are certainly of the primary importance, it must be noted that in other areas like keeping the workplace in clean condition at all times and respect to neighbouring properties also deserve a special credit. The only reason for not giving a perfect rating is due to some (what seems to be) hopefully minor misalignments of the entrance door and side sliding windows which became obvious a few days later. I contacted George for necessary adjustment to be done, and will be happy to update this review once that's done under warranty terms.

Cozy Comfort Plus (CCP) installed Carrier Infinity furnace and A/C at my place in October 2009. I'm glad I followed the sales person's advice to take advantage of the discounted at the time comprehensive (parts & labour) warranty which was approx $400 for the $9K worth equipment. Every year I received a reminder call from the company about the need for annual maintenance and tune-up. I did not believe it was necessary as my old Lennox furnace had barely ever had anybody looking into it over its 20+ years of service. To CCP credit, I must say they were never pushy at all. Although I was planning to arrange for the technician's first visit sometime at the beginning of this heating season when my beloved furnace hits its 5-year anniversary, I've almost had to pay for my ignorance and, to some degree, arrogance... When I tried to start the furnace a few days ago, it would run through self-diagnostic and then turn off reporting same error 32 "Low pressure switch open - Fault". I checked for proper airflow in and out and other things within my competence as advised on Internet forums, apparently to no avail. As it was Saturday, I didn't expect much in terms of getting someone from CCP to look into the issue same day and possibly even over the next couple of days, - just wanted to log the problem and make sure there would be a follow-up early next week (thank goodness the temperatures outside were still forgiving). To my surprise, I got an instant response and was told a technician would be in touch with me that very day. At around 4 pm (again, that was Saturday), Raymond was at my door and, after 15-20 min inspection, concluded one of the parts required a replacement. He was rather delicate in explaining that, had the regularly scheduled maintenance been done, the part's failure could have been easily avoided (those were not just words, there was a proof) and that they would do their best to be back following Monday once they get the replacement part. Indeed - before 10am on Monday, Morteza (the technician who originally did the installation in 2009 - the fact that speaks volumes on its own !) called to confirm availability of the part. Later in the afternoon, as he was going through the puzzle to determine the root cause, on my request he walked me through his investigation process. In the end, it turned out the trapped inside the faulty switch water - by-product of condensation in modern-days high-efficiency furnaces - was caused by the drain blockage. Once drain hoses were cleaned from debris accumulated over the furnace life and the switch replaced, the heating machine came back to life ! Throughout this experience, not only was I very pleased with the level of service and expertise of CCP staff (especially of Morteza - what a nice person and dedicated professional !), but also pleasantly surprised by the company's good will to forgo the charge for replacing the part that failed due to my own negligence ;-)
