Dion was referred to me by my structural engineer, so I knew to expect quality work from a professional. It was a big job that included excavating the front yard, constructing a new basement walkout, new front porch, stone steps, interlocking walkways and a retaining wall. Dion provided a detailed and competitive estimate for each major part of the project, and the final price was exactly in line with that. He was always available before, during and after the project was completed, for any questions or assistance needed. The team working on the project (Sergio, Joaquin and Frank) worked well together. They were very meticulous and precise especially with cutting and fitting the stones, and ensuring the grade was appropriately sloped, and both sides of the walkout walls exactly level (to the pleasant surprise of my mason guy, who came later to do brick tuck-pointing on the front facade of my house). We get a lot of pedestrian traffic in front of our house, and there were numerous comments on how great a job Dion's crew did. A number also requested business cards for their various projects. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the end result and definitely recommend Dion and his RockBottom Underpinning team.

We are very pleased with the sales and installation service we received from Brock Doors & Windows. We are repeat customers, having first contracted with BD&W about 20 years ago in a previous home. Didn't hesitate to call on them again to quote for new doors and windows in our current home. Very professional from start to finish. Their showroom is great; they provided excellent advice and suggestions; a great selection of quality doors, windows and hardware to choose from. Special thanks to the sales and service staff who helped us (Adam F, Kevin H, Matthew T and Adriana M) and very special thanks to our installation team (Stefan and Andrew) who did an amazing job, despite the extreme cold temperatures they had to work in. We already called on BD&W again to replace another door, and will call them again when we enter another renovation phase.

We had our basement underpinning done by TriColour Concrete this summer and we were very pleased with the result. Pat and Tony of TriColour were referred to us by our next door (attached semi) neighbours who had hired TriColour for their underpinning job a few years back. We had invited a few companies in for quotes but it was an easy decision to go with TriColour. Pat provided us with a clear (and exact) quote, and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns both before and during the process. Not only was their quote competitive, but we had the peace of mind knowing we were going with an experienced team who had consistently received 10/10 ratings from their clients over the years. The team clearly knew their job and worked well together. They were fast and efficient, always cleaned up the work area at the end of the day, and were on target with the quote. I had a few issues going on which made their job a bit more challenging, but they were very accommodating and helpful, which was much appreciated. I am very pleased we chose TriColour for our underpinning work, and plan to have them back for another project next year.
