From the outset, options were clearly discussed without rush or pressure. The owners took time to meet with us in person at our home on the weekend (which was especially appreciated after the failure of a major competitor to show up for a scheduled weekday appointment and the refusal of another company to meet in person without an upfront fee/deposit). PL's brochures and website also provided a solid amount of detail about the company and its products and projects. There was also only a very short waiting period from the time of booking until the work began. We were delighted with the hardworking crew and their attention to detail from beginning to end. The house preparation and daily clean-up which they took care of also ensured that we were able to continue our daily routines with little disruption and no safety issues for our young children. The quotation and pricing break-down was clearly set out in writing at the outset, and there was no change at the end. This was also one of the few (if not the only) companies we interviewed which offer different payment options (eg credit card). Noel, Tom & crew did a fantastic job installing a stunning skylight over our stairwell. Our home is transformed and we would recommend this company for their excellent work and extremely favourable pricing.

We researched several roofing companies prior to selecting Chislett. Their price for the size of our roof was the best for an established business (ie not a fly-by-night / unknown place). The work was done quickly and efficiently. The workers were polite and cleaned up everything very well.

We had always considered replacing our '70s style glass insert with wrought iron inserts, but had not prioritized this on our "To Do" list. Then, we happened to stop at the Door Lite Tek booth at a Spring home show and had a very pleasant chat with the owner. We were impressed by the product and the pricing, and proceeded to make a home appointment. Within the next week, we had had our home appointment, beautiful new door inserts were installed, and we also got matching new locks, which saved us time and effort to have to shop for separately. Overall, this was a great shopping experience, both in terms of speed, pricing and product quality. We are also pleased that the product is Canadian made. To date, we have received numerous compliments on our new doors and the amazing impact they have on the lighting in the hallway as well as the look of the stormdoor area and hallway. Highly recommended product and company!
