I hired Dryshield Water Solutions Corp. to waterproof the outside of my home. All in all, they did a great job and the followup service was excellent. The quality of materials used were very good. Aqua-Bloc 720-38 and the Henry Platon dimple board. However, there were a few things that I had to be on top of, otherwise the guys digging the holes may have cut corners on. 1st. When they dug down to the footings, one of the workers tried to convince me that I had no weeping tile. I told him to keep digging. Once he found it, he asked if I wanted it replaced. I found that a little silly since it was on the quote and there was new weeping tile sitting on my front lawn. 2nd. I have a heating cable that runs throughout the eavestrough and down the downspout to thaw the snow and ice in winter to prevent ice damming . They disconnected the downspout which was necessary to dig, but when they finished backfilling the hole, they compacted the dangling cable into the ground. When I asked them to dig it out, all they did was cut the back of the elbow in the downspout and ran the cable out the back. Obviously the water would follow this path when it rains. So I put in a complaint which was handled very well. Men came out 2 days later and dug out the cable. Problem solved. Overall, I am extremely satisfied I would definitely recommend Dryshield. However I would make sure you are home to supervise the job.
