Matt initially inspected the condition of the living/dining room floors in order to provide a quote and was also the same person to come back to sand/finish the floors, which was great for continuity. He provided knowledgeable explanations to my initial questions and throughout the process and floor care going forward. The floors had some dark spots from former carpet nail holes, water spots, dog & couch scratches and the floors were yellowed from likely previous years of wax build up (almost orange-ish even though they were not stained and should have been natural in colour). Matt indicated he'd do the best that could be possibly done....and he far exceeded my expectations. The floors look fantastic! Most notable is that the wood grain is evident, the natural colour is striking and all the marks are gone. This job included replacing eves, changing the location of downspouts, and adding fascia to the surround of the carport. Darren, the owner, provided knowledgable explanations to my numerous questions. Another company quoted without doing the carport fascia as that was part of another division and the work did not meet the dollar minimum. North Shore was able to meet my needs of adding a carport fascia as well as adding a small panel to cover exposed wood at the end of the carport and capping the downspout that went into the driveway. Some of these items are small in nature but make for a great final look. On-site, Nick & Rob were punctual, personable, detail-oriented and showed pride in there work by providing additional knowledgable insight to some options for installation. Thanks again.
