An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
Mike Heeley was extremely professional, objective, and clear during our home inspection, which we greatly appreciated as new home buyers. He spent time outlining each point with us thoroughly and was very open in addressing the numerous questions we posed throughout the process. We found that he often went beyond the expectation we had set, by not only addressing a particular question we had asked but highlighting additional interesting information we were unaware of in regards to the issue at hand. Importantly, although a great deal of information was shared with us during the home inspection, Mike was able to summarize the main points for us concretely as we moved through the various parts of the house. In the summaries, he drew our attention to the most important findings and used language that was easy to understand and which connected with earlier points he had shared. Such summaries, which included both issues and strengths of the home, made it very easy to consider all aspects of the house. The report that he generated was delivered the same day of the inspection and reflected the style with which he approached the actual home inspection. The document was highly detailed, well-organized, easy to navigate, and contained all of the information he had shared with us during the home inspection.
