I checked a neighbour as she had gone through the work of interviewing roofers last year and chose TOP ROOFERS - she was quite happy with their work. I contacted Bruno. He provided a quote. We agreed on a wide timeline (I was not in any hurry) and asked him to also check the back area roof of my house plus give me a quote for some soffit and fascia work on exterior of one side of the house, a hard to access area of my house. I also asked for better leaf guards in the front porch gutter. Removal of old shingles, Job was done about 3 weeks later. Dormer work done and Bruno did this himself. A really tough squeeze as the house next door so close. Did a fine job. The roof looks good and the new gutter guards ready for Autumn. Bruno is a gentleman, easy to talk to and knows his business and a reasonable price for the work I had done. Really pleased that I have finally found a trustworthy, professional roofer! I very rarely rate products or humans with a top of the chart number but in this case I do - and for the following reasons: George Spytek promptly returned my phone call. We discussed problem I had with my 3 baseboard heaters not working. We agree on a time and day and George arrives on time. 1970s era thermostat faulty, replacement made, problem solved. I requested a quote on other electrical work I want done in the near future. Quotes written out clearly and price of thermostat job very fair indeed. George is not only a friendly guy, but easy to talk to. He offered some fine suggestions regarding the future jobs I have lined up. Having been very disappointed by too many trades people, APR Electric so very much appreciated!

I called two of the top Home Star rated companies. Only Mega City bothered to call me back. Randy, the Estimator was at my house within minutes as they were in the general area. I agreed to go ahead with Mega City. Tom was polite, chatted and educated me on roof structures and shingle management while we watched the job being done. Not only did they do a fast and clean job removing three layers of shingles and installing the new shingles, Tom hunted down a mysterious leak I had in another part of the house and non-related to the job they were doing.. The water leak had eluded me for years and by using a hose over various sections, he found the leak. Tom also sealed some other areas identified as potential problem makers. He did not charge me for this extra service. For which I am most grateful. He and Jean (seen in the photo I took) were a pleasure to meet. The crew impressed me as well. How many years have I searched for professionalism and honesty? Too many!
