We have had problems with the sewer drain in front of our garage for years. Although we clean the catch basin out every year during heavy downpours it wouldn’t drain properly and would flood our garage. With the increase in occurrence in heavy rains recently we decided to call Canadian Router for service based on their positive reviews. Within a couple of hours Terry arrived at our home. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. He was very friendly and polite, explained the issue and installed some parts to improve its functionality. The same night we had yet another heavy rain storm and the water drained away perfectly - no more flooding! Great service!

Our water heater stopped working a couple of days ago. We first called the company we have dealt with the last 20 years - I still haven't heard back from them. So I turned to HomeStars which to date has never steered me wrong. I called just after 8 am and Sam answered the phone right away. Once I told him our problem he said he would be by the same day by 2 pm. He asked me to text him a photo of our water heater so he could be prepared. He arrived within the time he stated, was very polite and efficient. He wore a mask and gloves in this new age of social distancing. He quickly identified the problem and had the parts with him to do the repair right away without another service call. Bravo to Sam! We have hot water again. What amazing service!

Phenomenal service! Our eavestrough had come away from the back of our house in a storm overnight. I searched on HomeStars this morning and came across this company. Based on the reviews, I requested a quote with a photo attached and within 1/2 hour I received it. It seemed reasonable to me so I agreed. I was then quite pleasantly surprised when Yaron said he could come the same day (it's a Sunday today!) in the afternoon. He texted me later and asked if he could come around 3:15. He showed up at that time and was extremely polite and professional. He took a look at the job and clearly explained what needed to be done. He worked quickly and took photos at each stage in order to show me what the issue was and what he had done to correct it. Rather than the nails which were holding up the existing eavestrough he removed the leaf guards and installed brackets with screws, which is much more secure, and then reinstalled the leaf guards. I couldn't be more pleased and so relieved as water can be so damaging to a house. Everything was clean after he left. I would absolutely highly recommend Yaron for anyone looking for his services.

Wow! I can’t say enough about this company. They are a pleasure to work with, take pride in their work and did an EXCEPTIONAL job! They are skilled arborists and know their job well. We had a huge Tree of Heaven (weed tree) in our tiny city backyard. It was very weak and one of the trunks had started to split. Within 24 hours of calling the company they came out to take a look. Within a few days we had a quote for both the tree and stump removal. We felt it was very reasonable, particularly given its size (2 trees combined into one and both about 50 feet high), the confined small space accessible only through our garage and the presence of telephone lines. They worked with the City to obtain the necessary permission to remove the tree. Two days prior to the job they advised of the date they would do the removal. The crew arrived on the scheduled day at the time they had advised. The 3 man crew was so polite and professional. I was home throughout the job (as was my neighbour) and we both observed the incredible care, skill and efficiency with which they performed their work. Once the tree was down and taken away, they thoroughly cleaned up both the backyard as well as the street where put the tree into their chipper. You would never have known they were there. A few days later another crew came to remove the stump. Again, they were professional, did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. The job was executed for the price quoted with no hidden surprises. I would highly recommend this wonderful company.

We have used Davenport & Campbell for 15 years to service our furnace (my mom has used them even longer!). They are always reliable and professional. So when our furnace finally gave up last January we knew who to call to replace it. They sent a serviceman within 1 1/2 hours of our 7:30 am call and when we decided to replace it Brad (sales) came about 1 hour after that. He was very professional and took the time to go through our options. We decided on a top of the line high efficiency Carrier furnace with programmable thermostat and we couldn't be happier. As it was -20C outside he returned a few hours later with 4 electric heaters to keep us warm and arranged for a crew to install the next day. The crew of 3 workers were like a machine - extremely experienced and knowledgeable and very efficient - each had their role and did it well. Our old furnace was removed and the new one installed in just over 3 hours and no mess! We have been thrilled with the performance of the furnace (much more efficient, quieter, uses less gas) and the thermostat also controls the air conditioning and humidifier so it is like having seamless climate control in your home! Thanks to D&C for superior customer service and support. We will be using you them for many years to come!

We were VERY pleased with the service Monster Plowing provided last winter! After requesting a quote we had our quote within a day complete with a drawing of the plan of our house clearly detailing the proposed service. Our contract included plowing of our driveway and hand shoveling the front steps and sidewalk as well as the application of green melter. The communications the company sent out by e-mail when snow storms were forecasted was very useful and the proactive measures taken in advance of severe storms (application of green melter) was much appreciated. The snow was always cleared when the snow was 1 inch or more (sometimes even when it may not have been quite 1 inch!) and the peace of mind it gave us, particularly knowing we didn't have to shovel ourselves, was priceless. We never had to worry about whether the company would show up to clear the snow. A very reliable and professional snow removal service! We have already signed up for this year.
