My dishes weren't coming clean. Found this vendor on home stars and gave him a call. He came a couple of hours later, fixed my dishwasher and charged a fair price. Was prepared and professional.
Move from Toronto to Vancouver
We are in the middle of our move. The on-site movers were on-time, professional and courteous. At first, we were dissastisfied with the administrative folks. We were concerned about an overall lack of responsiveness and a change to our moving date. However, after we escalated our concerns, we were pleased to have a very friendly customer service person (Laurie) work with us to resolve the situation to our satisfaction. Overall - worth considering.
Hardwood flooring Installation
Great store selection & prices. We arranged hardwood installation for our living/dining rooms + kitchen + bath. Mike the installer did not show up on the arranged day: the store apologized for the mixup. The job was to take 2-3 days and took 4, which we felt was typical. Our beef was the final product: gaps between the wood, scratches where the kitchen appliances sat. They should have used a dropcloth along the carpeted hall, we had to steamclean 3 times following the job. They also failed to re-tighten up the pipe to the toilet, allowing for a slow drip down to the basement, ruining the ceiling. The store refused to take responsibility - they said we should have kept the installer longer to finish the job & insisted on cleanup before paying the final balance. They gave us the installer's cell phone number, which didn't work. This store doesn't stand behind its jobs.
