Stove Repair- F2E1 error message on Fridgedair
The repair man showed up with replacement mother board for stove. Told me it would be $547.00 to fix my stove. New board was 199.00. Plus 150.00 for service call. He did not even open stove to inspect circuit board at all. I told him no not worth it, I will get new stove. Paid him $150.00 for showing up, as that was all he did. He was here not even 5 mins. Basically, just wrote the 150.00 bill for service. What a farce! Did not even look at stove! Very Unhappy with this service!

Sherry I appreciate your review and wished you had called our office to review your service with a manager and or asked for a discount. Farce? Not at all Sherry. The technician being a representative of a manufacturer authorized service center for your brand arrived at your home being fully prepared with all the knowledge and parts required to properly service your range. the only part that of the service that was left was to replace the part upon your approval. The error code displayed on your unit has a specific response outlined in the manufacturer's technical service manual and most likely was the only answer. The fact that you thought it was uneconomical to repair the unit based on the manufacturer specified repair really does not represent any form of exploitation as your review suggests. We go above and beyond industry standards to provide more parts and labor warranty and although we have flat rate labor pricing we are always open to negotiation and will always make an effort to accommodate our customers.
