I had my chimney repaired recently and they saw some shingles missing when they were on my roof. I contacted several companies for quotes on my chimney repair. Several quoted a complete rebuild of the chimney. Townshend was straightforward that the height of my chimney could be reduced and it didn't require a full rebuild.
