Our basement project included: new sub-floor, new flooring, new framing and finishes on exterior walls and interior partitions, new spray foam on exterior walls and headers, new electrical, new plumbing, new bethroom (toilet, sink, shower), paint and trim, and lots of built-in storage. The work went smoothly and quality was good. Patrick and his team always made changes where things didn’t quite meet expectations and there was no haggling over extras within the original scope. We added several items during the project including a moving the water heater, replacing the house and porch roofs. partial foundation waterproofing, and brick parging. I was comfortable knowing that Faroe was available to manage these various trades and coordinate their timing to mesh with Faroe’s work. We love the space and are very happy with the work.

Master Drain & Water Works was the first to respond to my request for a quotation and his rates were very reasonable. He had his crew at my house quickly and finished the work quickly without any hassles. He installed a backwater valve too, completed all of the paperwork, and submitted the application to the City. I recommended him to a friend just recently and his experience with Master Drain & Water Works was the same - excellent!

Robert and his crew showed up on time (early in fact) and finished the job quickly and professionally. The clean up was thorough and the siding has been in service for over a year and looks like new. I will definitely recommend them for anyone doing interior or exterior work.

We hired Kris after receiving a flyer in our box - which turned out to be a mistake. He was very friendly when providing the quote and said all the right stuff when questioned but failed to deliver on several fronts. His crew failed to show up on time, removed all the exterior sheathing from the back of our home, and then left us freezing through 3 weeks over Christmas and most of January. Our son's bedroom wall was developing frost on the INTERIOR surface and the windows were hanging on by a thread (a fall hazard for our young son). He tried to "up-sell" us on a bathroom re-do since some of the tiles were damaged during the window replacement but I wasn't up for continuing this battle. We dismissed him after this supposed week-long (his promise) project lasted more than 6 MONTHS. The workmanship was terrible (some of which I had to re-do before we hired a new contractor - PCL Interior Exterior Finishes, who are excellent) and he refused to accept any responsibility for sub-par work. Clearly this project was out of his league and the crew had no idea what they were doing.
