We had Carlos G conduct a home inspection for us and he failed to inform us of the major water and constructional damages in the basement. Since moving in to our home a month ago, our basement has flooded after every rainfall, and we have had 5 different contractors look at the problem. Each contractor told us that the signs of water damages and 'patch work' done by the previous owners were clearly visible and that a competent inspector would have been able to tell us right away. Our real estate agent recommended Carlos and realizing that this was a mistake after, we feel we have been deceived by this man. We are now facing the potential of over $30,000 in repair work.

After two months of working on our house(original estimate was 3 weeks), Mark's employee informed us that he would not be returning the following day because he was still owed over 100hrs of work. We asked Mark the next day what was going on, and he told us that he has run out of money because he has had to pay wages etc. He realized then that we knew that this was not true and he lost it. He refused to return to finish the job, has not returned our calls, and has left us with a bill of almost $30,000(originaly estimate was $16,000) and has still not paid his employee. Mark Pellar was unprofessional, insulting, and used profanity when he knew that he was caught being dishonest. We realized later that previous customers of his were left unsatisfied with his work.
