We hired solution build group Inc. to finish our basement on May 6th on the basis to deliver the project by June 23rd. Yousef (the manager) at the beginning was so nice and try to close a deal in the second appointment and he mentioned that he has professional crew and he had agreement that protect us. He even added penalty on himself if he couldn’t deliver the project by 23rd June, he would pay $150 per day. For our bad luck, we believed him and signed the agreement without more investigation on the company. However, he started the work, and we found the same staff is doing the drywall and the electricity. The same man who is carrying things is doing painting! However, they were out of schedule and we contacted yousef (the manger) many times and asked him to come, and every time he said I would come tomorrow and never came. For 10 days he never showed up and didn’t know anything about the work. He was coming when there was payment only. In the contract he estimate the price on 1900 SQF of drywall and if we need to add anything to the project, then the work needs more than the estimation, then we need to pay $2 per SQF. He called us after 2 weeks from beginning of the job and said “The work needs extra 25 sheets of drywall (which is extra 45% from his estimation drywalls) and you need to pay $1700”. The strange things we never add any extra work to the project and then we discovered from his crew that he is normally doing that to win the project and then ask the customer to pay more. However, during the work, yousef’s crew normally is coming at 12pm and some times at 4om and leaving late at nigh which make it very difficult for us and our kids. This is because his crew doesn’t care about anything. On 24th June, the project was not completed and we got only 70% of the project. By July 2nd, 2014 he sent email saying the project on hold unless you agree to change the agreement and there is no penalty for the delay and pay all the money prior to finish the project. Now, he left the project in the middle and disappear, the quality of the work is very bad, and we are taking him to the court. My points on this company and his manager (Yousef) are: 1-They are looking for getting your money and that is it. When they get the money, you never see them. 4- They are trying to get the money at the beginning and leave small amount at the end. therefore, when they make problem and disappear, the got 90% or more from the money. At the end if there is any minus point, then I will give to this company.

Unfortunately we had some very uncommon problems with this customer. We entered into this project with the professionalism, commitment and best intentions that we do for all our work. As the reviewer points out we put everything clearly in writing on our contracts so our customers know what to expect. There were many changes made to this project by the reviewer along the way. The reviewer signed off on all changes and agreed to the additional charges that occurred with the changes. The contract was based on a milestone payment plan as each phase was completed the homeowner would make payment, however the homeowner breached the contract once they stopped making payments. As the reviewer states in his review the job was stopped at 70% completion which we had to stop due to non-payment and breach of contract. The photos shown in the review are of an incomplete job which would not reflect the quality of a completed job. Furthermore there are still amounts owing to us for the work that we performed as well as financial damages the homeowner has cost our company and we hope that we can come to an amicable resolution based on the outcome of the litigation we have filed in order to collect the outstanding balance that is owed to us.
