Purchased Samsung Appliances from Bad Boy. Also purchased their 5 year Gold Star warranty. Samsung range broke 1 week before Samsung warranty expired. Two weeks later Samsung serviced. Refrigerator broke 4 days after one year manufacturer's warranty expired. Called Samsung. They laughed at me and said go find a service shop. Called Bad Boy on Wednesday. Was told they would get service company to call me within 48 hours. I called Bad Boy back on Friday, waited 1 hour on hold. Gave up. I called the service company Bad Boy said they would refer my repair to. The service company was very cooperative and told me that they had told Bad Boy on Wednesday that they could not do the service in a timely fashion and that Bad Boy should refer to another shop, Bad Boy has still to call me back. I booked a service call with the original service company who at last seemed to be awake and wanted to be helpful. In the end my Fridge broke on Monday 23 June. I wasted 24 June trying to get Samsung to extend their 365 day warranty to 369 days to cover me. Wednesday June 25 I called Bad Boy to use their extended warranty. No appointment was booked and no communication received from bad Boy. Hold times over 1 hour when calling service. Eventually made an appointment directly with the service company that Bad Boy was referring my service on 27 June for July 7th. Two full weeks without a fridge over the long weekend. I have no idea how this will work out financially, but timing wise it is terrible. Totally unacceptable.
