A trusted contractor whom I did business with referred me to Yunior at Java Electric to do a major rewiring in a house we recently purchased-- and we are extremely happy. I have already referred them and will continue to do so. Nobody will touch my electrical except Junior and his team moving forward. Junior was extremely professional in the level of detail he carried out during the quoting process. I had many many questions and add-on requests and he was very patient and honest about how we go about things, and he went through everything one by one in detail. Our entire house was rewired along with a meter move to the outside, pot lights were added, wires fished, outlets were replaced, and everything was brought up to code, along with a generator ready panel box. They even fished usb wires with clean outlet boxes behind the tv and fished my HD antenna up to the attic. Junior, Raul, and Steve were always polite, respectful, clean and professional. I had other HVAC work run in tandem and there was a minor glitch and Junior was at my house within an hour during late hours. If the work is remotely on his team's watch he insists you call him regardless of hour. They tested my generator once while I wasn't home upon my instruction and he insisted to go over it with me when I was here to make sure everything was working properly, and he patched up the walls for when we eventually re-paint. Junior was also very thorough with respect to going over everything I ordered, smaller things he purchased and the final payment to ensure I was happy. Numerous friends noticed some of the work being done and commented on how clean of a job and the few holes they had to put in the wall to rewire. Another friend requested my electrician's contact info because he noticed how ever screw is tighten the exact same way on every outlet. He said that is how he does things and want his contact for a quote. I cannot recommend Junior, Raul, and Steve enough. They are excellent and their level of service will be hard to beat. Jaret

My inlaws, their neighbour, and I have been dealing with SAR for several years. A friend of ours who is a widowed elderly immigrant had a contractor bolt on her like a thief in the night. He was a fly by night and went out of business, and didn't seem to care he was leaving her in the dark and out of pocket and a messy furnace situation. She hired Tony and not only did he clean up the soot that was spewing throughout her house -- he made extensive efforts to see this man's insurance pay her for damages. Only SAR can touch her furnace now. Tony, Samantha, Gina and his crew are absolutely top notch. They did a large and cumbersome HVAC install in my house and they utilized a relatively small space for the new washer and dryer. They were very friendly, polite, and very hard working. This wasn't an easy job. We are extremely happy. If you are a tire kicker -- kick your tires and be cheap elsewhere-- they are probably not a good fit. If you want to pay fairly and get top notch service on your furnace and A/C needs by trustworthy people then SAR is highly recommended. Best, Jaret

The service is excellent and if I purchase more Ikea storage systems for closets, etc -- I will be hiring IkeaMan again. Ivan took the time to answer many questions, deal with several changes while being patient with my busy schedule. He always answered my questions in a prompt and polite fashion. If you have time on your hands and you want to try setting up and levelling the Pax Wardrobe yourself then go ahead-- but if you are busy like me and want to ensure it is done properly and professionally then look no further then Ivan. John was the assembler Ivan sent and he is super friendly, professional, and clean. And he indirectly got IkeaMan more business most likely. I am glad I didn't order the Ikea sub-contracted setup service given the poor delivery experience I had with the same contractor. These guys are worth every penny. Awesome and thanks! Jaret

I rarely write these types of reviews unless I am very unsatisfied or extremely happy. HomeStars helped us find an absolute gem in Aida & her team. We required a deep clean in preparation for selling our house. Aida came to the rescue on very short notice. We couldn't be happier with Aida and her team, and we have already referred her to two of our friends (HomeStars -- you should factor 'already have' into your rating system). Both her and her employee were very professional, courteous, and they left the house spotless. We will definitely use her service again when needed in the future. We're moving within the city and Aida will be coming with us. Aida takes the time to explain things regarding what she will do and what you want cleaned. She is very thorough with every aspect.
