I had to install a sump pump in my basement. Darby's team did the first part of the job which was to cut out the drywall dig around the perimeter, install the sump pump bucket, fill in the excavated area with the weeping tiles and cement the area and add the waterproof membrane to the walls (not necessarily in that order). The workers were always on time, polite and friendly. They cleaned up the area each time they left and even swept along the walkway where they pushed the wheelbarrow. I was impressed with how clean they left the room. I didn't have to do any cleaning! I would highly recommend Darby's team for any basement waterproofing work. Thank you Darby for doing this project and making it cost efficient to fit my budget and to your team for doing a great job!

Leroy was very pleasant to work with. He responded immediately to my request and arrived on time. He was thorough in his work and even told me I could call him if the furnace stopped working after he left. He also checked my batteries for the furnace thermostat. I would definitely use him again and recommend his services.

I found Dmitry on the Homestars site. I called him to set up a time and he came that very evening. He was always on time and very courteous. He and his staff were professional in their work. After the camera drain inspection, a problem was detected with the set up of the plumbing/drain in my basement so the valve had to be installed on the exterior. The staff did the excavation while keeping my front yard tidy and free from dirt and dust. After the inspector's visit, the excavated area was filled and the grass and pave stones put back neatly. They even saved my tulips in the garden bed. Dmitry also helped me to fill out the city subsidy paperwork. I have nothing but good things to say about Dmitry and his team! Thanks a lot gentlemen!!!

I called several companies on the HomeStars site but only Hamid responded and made an appointment immediately to come and inspect my basement and give me an estimate. His price was very reasonable and I agreed to use A&R Renovation. Hamid is extremely professional and personable. Both he and his co-worker were punctual everyday on the job. Hamid went out of his way to explain the process and to ensure that I understood the work that was being done. He answered all my questions. I really appreciated that! I was very pleased with the job done! He even fixed my dryer hose which was damaged from having to move things around after the flood. Over all, I was satisfied with the cost and the work done.
