Planning and Design with Danny: We first met Danny Cabral in February 2015 with the goal of updating our tired interlocking stone work in our backyard pool area and front entrance way. The project was large and involved collaboration with my pool supplier and lighting contractor. As a homeowner we had a few ideas but no knowledge of how it would all work or be pulled together. Danny was referred to us by a family member who had fantastic work done the previous year. We called Danny for a quote and he scheduled a meeting at our convenience in February. We had other quotes from other landscaping companies during the same month but decided to go with Danny and Synergy. Danny was a true professional and listened our needs, desires and vision. I just had a good feeling about him. Its funny how you get a good feeling about someone on the first impression. Danny proved my instincts to be true. Through our experience with Danny he proved to be hardworking, thorough, detailed, honest, dedicated, respectful and polite. Danny quickly mapped out drawings for us and various design options for us to consider.  It just seemed that Danny cared more and wanted to work harder than all the other guys out there. He worked within our budget and understood the “look and feel” we wanted. He booked follow up sessions to review concepts, ideas and drawing until we decided on a plan that was both beautiful and functional. What Danny created on paper for us was a true piece of art from a design perspective. Danny is truly amazing at design. He showed us various samples of stone types, patterns and pavers that would work well with what we wanted to achieve. He was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was never pushy. He really understood us as homeowners and was extremely respectful. He gave us the space we needed to make our decision. He gave us a project timeline and stuck to it. One of the stories you often hear about projects like this is that contractors will show up, do a bit of work, collect a downpayment and not be on-site or show up for weeks. Synergy was onsite from the day 1 until the job was completed, from excavation right through to installation.  I’m very pleased and also very grateful for what Danny achieved for us and consider him to be the absolute Best in the business. Danny is above the rest and and is truly client focused. A big thank you to Danny and Synergy. Excavation: The demolition work commenced in April 2015. It commenced a few days late due to weather conditions however whatever time was lost at the start was made up through hard work, dedication and putting in extra time. The team led by George worked extremely hard to meet the completion timeline that we agreed upon. The team was respectful to me and my family and answered questions we had for the project. They treated my home as their own. Often Phil (the owner) showed up to ensure progress was on track and to make sure that we were happy with developments. The crew had all the necessary heavy equipment to do the job. They were punctual and enjoyed working on my property. At the end of each work day they would spend time to ensure that they cleaned up before leaving which meant sweeping dust and any residue left on the driveway and street. My neighbours were extremely impressed with the pride George and crew took in their work. Installation: The big day came when the excavation was completed and installation was to commence. Of course Danny ensured that all the materials and the stone we decided on was on site prior to the commencement of installation. The installation crew was headed up and managed by a true craftsman and stone specialist named Sterling. Sterling and crew were punctual and very polite. Just really down to earth good people. They worked without and issues and as a team they worked in 'synergy’. Sterling was extremely detailed oriented. Things like spacing between stones and stone patterns were of importance. Armour stone was used to build a retaining wall. Even the layering, spacing, height and look was taken into consideration when putting up the retaining wall with armour stone. Everything was carefully considered from an visual and functional perspective. The underlying material and treatment/tapping was important to Sterling and crew. Sterling and crew cared about every detail and they truly cared that we were happy. They worked with our pool supplier to ensure piping and wiring to/from the pool was done correctly. They took steps to ensure that piping installed by my pool supplier stayed in tact and didn’t get damaged. Extreme care was taken not to damage the pool coping. Sterling even ran piping/conduit prior to stone installation for us so our lighting contractor could fish electrical wiring to areas around the patio and pool. The crew installed a diving rock which was hand selected by Danny which finished off the elegant and beautiful landscaping design. They went above and beyond all expectations. It was amazing to see the day to day progress that was being made and the transformation that was taking shape. Sterling is without a doubt the absolute Best in the business. This crew is extremely hard working and are dedicated specialists. They take pride in their work. Sterling is a craftsman, he is an amazingly gifted and talented person at what he does. He loves what he does and is passionate about his craft. Sterling’s goal is to do the job right and he does it above and beyond the standard. He wants to exceed the homeowners expectation. The team are client focused and they truly valued me, my family and my home. They are pleasant and just really talented and exceptional at what they do. I love the way things turned out and I’m extremely pleased with the results. It could not have been achieved if not for Synergy and the entire team. Danny, George, Sterling and the entire crew from Synergy thank you. I love what you did for me and my property. You created an absolutely a work of art. Friends and family who come over are just amazed at the end result. I’ve been told its like something from one of those backyard design television shows or a design catalog. In fact the stone supplier that was used were equally impressed with the work and design that they decided to use the landscaping job completed by Synergy in their upcoming catalogue for 2016.
