My husband and I wanted to upgrade our kitchen with my husband refinishing the cabinets but hiring professionals for the countertop and sink installation. We went to a few places for a price estimate. Few were interested in the piecemeal work and not having the entire project. Suzy was very knowledgeable in providing information with respect to different types and quality of countertops, and provided quotes accordingly. Once we made our choice, she made an appointment for Michael to come over to take measurements. He did so punctually. The following day she called to say the slab had been delivered and we could go and take a look at it if we wished. A date was set for installation. We removed our own countertops but Michael came over to dispose of them. He also needed them as a template. He showed up promptly with his team on the agreed day for installation. He did a very careful and thorough job paying great attention so that the seams hardly show. Although there was a slight error in measurement, they took the slab back to the factory immediately and returned within half an hour for a perfect product. We are very pleased with the service we received from Stonehenge from start to finish and we love our new countertops. Thank you Michael, Suzy and the team.

We hired Paul for the renovation of our bathroom ensuite and laundry room both on the main floor in May 2015. I wrote a review at the time. He was prompt, professional, an artist and a perfectionist. Other estimators said they could not level the flooring with the newly installed hardwood but Paul did so beautifully. He cleaned up on a daily basis which limited clutter and dust. On this project Paul singlehandedly, did the tiling, installation and plumbing of shower, vanities, toilet, faucets etc. painting, drywalling, and electrical requirements for the bathroom fan and spot lights. We were so pleased with his work that we hired him again in January 2016, for a smaller bathroom which also required gutting, lights, fan, tiling, painting, installation of bath/enclosure, toilet, sink, vanities etc. Although this project ran into a couple of delays through no fault of Paul, the quality of his overall work was not compromised. The clean up occurred every day and final result was worth waiting for. Because of his high standards and glowing reputation, Paul is no longer able to do everything himself and is now working with contractors to work with him on his projects. However, he scrutinizes both their work and ethics very carefully before taking them on for a project and requires that they work to his very high standards. On the second project Paul did not do the electrical work himself but the contractor he brought in was excellent and even helped us with a separate electrical issue we were dealing with. Pleased with the second project and Paul's quality of work and professionalism, we have once again called him to assist us with a smaller, third project on some kitchen renovations. He will do the plumbing but has coordinated the work with another tiler for the tiling of the backsplash. I have absolute confidence that if the new tiler has passed Paul's scrutiny we will again be very satisfied customers. I will confirm our satisfaction once the project is completed next month.

We sought 4 estimates for an idea of what our bathroom renos entailed. Paul was not the first or the cheapest but he was the most attentive, offered information for us to make our own decisions, returned a couple of times as we changed our mind after his initial estimate and was so patient in explaining how and what he was doing throughout the project. We also liked that he did most of the work himself, and never said anything could not be done rather took the attitude how can it be done. Our bathroom was somewhat of a disaster with a carpet from the mid 90s, uneven floor and uneven step after we laid hardwood in the bedroom which earlier estimators said could not be levelled perfectly. It did not have a fan. Paul attended punctually and regularly every day and dealt with installing fan and pot lights requiring a new ceiling which he did singlehandedly paying attention to keeping dust to a minimum. He cleaned up the bathroom perfectly at the end of each day. He got rid of the demo materials promptly. He levelled the floor and brought the tiles in the ensuite and laundry room absolutely flush with the hardwood. He installed the shower, toilet, vanity, lights, mirrors. We saved the spa bath but he tiled it to perfection as he did with the rest of his work. The work was completed on time and on budget. We would not hesitate to recommend Paul for any bathroom reno.
