Jimmy & Joanne followed all the COVID protocols, worked in tandem, cleaned our windows both inside & out, screens & even wiped down our shutters which wasn't expected!! Everything looks great!! We called Infinity Gutter & requested a quote to replace our builder grade leaky eaves trough/downspouts. Miro arrived the same day, in the rain, asked a few questions, took measurements, made a few suggestions & provided a quote. Before he left, I asked what his schedule was like. He said he was booking jobs about 2 weeks in advance. We were already familiar with his work as we read his positive reviews on Homestars. I called Miro the following day to tell him he had the job. He messaged us earlier this week to say he could complete the installation earlier than expected. The day of the installation, Miro & his worker arrived at 800am. By 200pm the job was complete, all scrap cleaned up & was taken away!! Miro was extremely nice to work with. I called Ken late yesterday afternoon, Friday, to explain our wildlife problem. Ken detailed his services, related costs, warranty & to my pleasant surprise his availability the next day. Ken arrived on time introduced himself & conducted a thorough inspection of our home. We thought we had a red squirrel infestation due to other homes in the neighbourhood experiencing similar problems this year. It turned out to be mice. He proceeded with a product to control the mice. Ken also gave us tips to rid spiders which we have struggled with for a few years. The charges for the services provided were very reasonable. Ken explained he has been in the business for 17 years. I would not hesitate to call Ken in the future if we have any further wildlife problems. For the 3rd year, I've contacted Fresh Glance Cleaning Services to clean our windows. I appreciated receiving an appointment reminder yesterday. Jimmy & his wife Joanne did a fantastic job cleaning the windows inside & out as well as the screens. Everything was restored to normal when they were finished. I've already booked them to return in the fall.

We replaced our builder grade windows in stages over a 5 year period starting in 1995 with Northstar Windows. Northstar came to do some weatherstripping warranty work. We were advised by the technician, our windows required re-caulking. After an internet search we found Vanguard Caulking. The customer reviews were all positive. We contacted Vanguard Caulking & immediately a response was sent back requesting photos of our (5) windows. An appointment was scheduled the following week to complete the job. Vanguard Caulking arrived on time, removed all old caulking, applied high quality caulking and cleaned up. The windows look perfect!! We will definitely call Vanguard Caulking to book an appointment for the spring to remove/re-caulk our remaining windows.

We met a rep, Joe, from hdw&dc inc at the national home show this spring. Joe was very informative & spent a considerable amount of time with us answering all of our questions. We arranged for a no obligation estimate at our home. During this process Joe made some suggestions for the installation. Before we signed the purchase contract, we were clear with Joe we didn't want the door installed until ongoing renovations at our home were complete. Joe & the staff at the office were very accommodating. Our door was installed last week. The installers were punctual, friendly & extremely professional. They used the same care removing our builder grade entry door as they used installing our new door. We are very happy with the color choice, appearance & added security this new door adds to our home. Thanks to the staff at the office & Joe for making this such a positive experience!!

After going to the home show in Toronto this spring & speaking to the Eclipse Representative, we made our decision to replace an existing window covering with shutters. We researched local Eclipse dealers on Homestars & found Brooklin Blinds and Shutters. The owner Mark, was very prompt with our request for an onsite quote. We ordered on the spot. Once our order was placed, a representative from Eclipse called to confirm an installation date. An email was sent 36 hours prior to the installation. The day of the installation, the technicians called to say they would arrive in 30 minutes. Very prompt!! The technicians were very pleasant & professional. Mark arrived onsite at the start of the job to clarify any questions. Mark also asked the installers to adjust shutters that were installed in 2013. These were not purchased through Brooklin Blinds and Shutters. The installers took their time & did a fabulous job!! They look brand new!! Mark followed up with us the afternoon of the installation to make sure were were completely satisfied with both the new installation & the adjustment. We would highly recommend Brooklin Blinds and Shutters if you are planning on purchasing shutters as window coverings. You will not be disappointed with the experience!!
