Steve Doak (Silver Spike construction) is trustworthy, personable, reliable, knowledgeable, skilled and very experienced. He has many years of experience on multiple different projects. He renovated my basement and I couldn't be happier. The end result exceeded my expectations and the price was extremely reasonable. He had the expertise to manage many different facets of the renovation (framing, electrical, plumbing, window install) with confidence.

About 8 months ago my hot water tank just… died! I didn''t know what happened but after 2 weeks of cold showers it was time to fix it! BRRRR. I called up Piper Plumbing and was quite impressed right from the beginning. Dave sounded professional and said he could send someone out right away. I asked him the cost upfront and he said it would be $1185 (no beating around the bush). Now, I also had a basement toilet that didn't work either so I asked him how much to replace that (while he was here) and he said a couple hundred more dollars for a cheap toilet (I was on a budget). I didn't know what to expect but his worker Doug showed up (on time) with his big plumbing van. He showed me the problem with my hot water tank (it was old & rusted right out). Then he got right to work. Within the same day I had a brand new hot water tank and toilet installed! The cost was exactly what I was quoted over the phone by the manager Dave. I got this work done about 8 months ago and the hot water tank and toilet still work perfectly. I never had to call them back once. It was a fast, punctual, professional service. I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys as they know what they're doing. And that's refreshing because I've death with my share of people who call themselves plumbers but don't know a monkey wrench from a crescent wrench. I've learned my lesson and now just call the pros!

Recently I needed a bathroom fan installed. I called around and most contractors didn't even seem interested. It was in a very tight spot in a basement bathroom and a large vent hole had to be made through an exterior wall. Electrical work also had to be done to install a switch next to the light switch. I wasn't getting much interest from anyone to do this job for me. After having been completely STOOD UP by two contractors I finally called up Marc from Aztek Homes. I was expecting to have to wait for him to come out. I was wrong! He came out the same day and within 24 hours had the whole job completed! He was extremely professional through the whole process. He came to my home and explained what he would be doing and why. It was obvious he was pretty knowledgable about numerous aspects of contracting from electrical to plumbing. I couldn't believe this job was done this fast for less than I expected to pay. I would highly recommend Aztek homes.
