I had an old school building trap that had collapsed and backed up into my basement. Had another plumber come to diagnose and told me the trap had to be replaced - quoted me $3000 - and told me I would probably need to find my own diggers and call for the gas line locate on my own. Brought in a second opinion and he quoted $2400. Slav from AAA (Toronto Drain Service) showed up on a Saturday to take a look quoted me $1700 and said he would be there Monday morning. The job was done by 3pm on Monday and my anxiety of having to cancel Christmas dinner at our house was gone. This guy's work was so neat and tidy, you can barely tell anything was even done. (Few squares of grass i'll have to care for in the spring - but he actually cut them into squares and replaced them!) Even put all my landscaping back perfectly. Slav is a hard worker and a machine. Why anyone would pay anyone else to do this job for them is beyond me. This is the kind of quality I expect and he was $700 cheaper than the next quote!

I have hired services for many different things including kitchen work, deck/fencing, driveway. landscaping, etc. Of all of them, I can say without hesitation, that Bill's work was the cleanest, most honest, and best value of anyone I have ever hired. My neighbour even commented that by the time they came home, you couldn't even tell that anyone had been there doing any work because Bill left the area (which was on their driveway side) absolutely spotless. Bill gave me options, different price points and advised me on what his recommendation was. I had shopped around for chimney repairs, and Bill was not the cheapest or most expensive, but dealing with him and how he presented my options far surpassed my experience with the other companies...and most importantly, the work spoke for itself. I recommend Bill and The Chimney Company without hesitation...there is no need to shop around.
