Best price for a 12 X 8 wood shed and it was put up in one day. They used blocks as a foundation so we will have to see how this holds up over time. Wanted to use Rona, but it cost me $57 just for an estimate. The estimate came up to over $3000 just for the foundation and the building of the shed but NO shed. Shed in a day did everything for well less than half of what I would have spent at Rona. They were pleasant on the phone but communication was just okay, nothing bad, not great. We managed to get the install arranged and it was done while we were at work. Definitely recommend Shed in a Day, nice quality shed. One year update: Two of the footings were slightly askew, one email and the company had it fixed before I knew it. Great service.

Had a leaking window and an old door that needed to be replaced. Michael came and gave us an estimate for the work and the price was right on. Great pricing. The two man crew came in and completed the job and even finished in the dark. Nice job, clean up was good considering it was dark outside. For a custom job it was a good value. Note: Had another door and window added the following year but the after service experience was not great. The day of the job the incorrect color door lock set was installed. When I called the company I was told to have the installer put it in for the time being and they would be back to swap lock sets. After several phone attempts (and unreturned messages) had a lock set delivered but I had to install it myself. The product is good just disappointed the second time around since the first experience was great. I worry how well they may follow up on warranty issues if I had difficulty get efficient service for a small matter. Note: Warranty coverage was quick and efficient. Came quickly to look at a small problem.

Kyle from Alpha animal control stopped in quickly on an emergency call when squirrels started to nest in our attic. He screened off other potential entry areas. After a few weeks to make sure that babies were not still in the attic he put a one way door out of the attic. He wanted to make nothing was sealed into the attic. He made a third trip back to remove the one one and seal up the entry hole. Thanks Kyle for your expertise, and giving us some peace and quiet.

We contacted the top reviewed tree service on Homestars along with a few others including Lepard tree care. We are still waiting for the estimate from the Homestars' top rated for 2009. In the meanwhile, Todd and his associate came and finished a great job as promised. Good safe pruning of a large old maple that grew into wires, over the neighbours garage and along the roof. Very friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended over the 'other' companies for sure. Thanks Todd.
