Excellent service. Came the same day I called. Repaired my stove in short order. The burners were not working when he arrived. He repaired the wiring to the circuit board and we tested all the burners prior to him leaving. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have their appliances repaired.

We had an ensuite renovation done by Lampert Renovations in January 2015. Our shower was leaking and the room looking tired and worn after 17 years of daily use. We chose Lampert Renovations because they are a family run company who have been in business for eighty years and the fact that they have a good rating on Homestars. We were able to pick out the tiles, tub, cabinet, taps and flooring at Lampert's showroom and which made for easy one stop shopping which we appreciated. We signed the contract the same day, and the total cost and payment dates were clearly outlined. The work crew arrived on the prearranged day and took twelve working days to complete the job. Lawrence, the owner, stopped in to check up on the job once during this time. We have done many renovations over the years and are aware that you can't do a renovation without some dust and disruption to your house while it is being done. Having said that, I have a couple of suggestions that the Lampert crew could do to make the whole procedure more pleasant for the homeowner. These are: 1. The workman should use plastic to cover the bed and furniture in the adjoining room, prior to starting any work. They only put plastic on the bed only after I requested it and they had already done day one of the demolition. 2. The workman should ask the homeowner where their equipment and supplies can be stored while the job is in progress At least part of their gear could have been stored in a room nearby which would have given us access to our closet for those two and a half weeks. Overall we are happy with the renovation. I would recommend Lampert Revovations to family and friends.

Over the past twelve years I have contracted Finer Edge to do painting and carpentry work numerous times and have been very pleased with the work they have done. They also give you a time line for the project and it's been my experience that they adhere closely to it. Their manager, Vince, stops by regularly, to check on the progress of the job and to answer any questions the home owner may have. Their painters arrive on time, are courteous and take pride in their work. We've used Finer Edge four times over the past twelve years and we won't use any other painting and home improvement company. We've also reommended them to family, friends and neighbours.
