The 5kW of panels had been set up on the roof by a previous builder, but never connected to an inverter and the grid. After having multiple alleged solar contractors come to assess and make an offer, I finally met Tarum, who was the first one knowing what he was talking about. He offered options, a fair price, timely execution with good communication, the proper legwork for net metering with BC Hydro. Highly recommended.

I emailed Grant for a quote for my driveway on Feb 16th. He phoned me back the same day, came for measuring and assessing details of slope, drains, etc... and emailed me a detailed quote by the next day, with and without the option of rebar. I chose to have the rebar. He was ready to start work the following Monday, and despite adverse weather (cold, snow, rain) managed to get everything done before the end of the month. Insulated tarps ensured the concrete would cure properly. During the process he made sure to understand exactly what I wanted, pausing the prep work until he clarified details with me rather than proceeding forward in a way I would not have wanted. Once the driveway was usable he came back to feather the edges around the water meter and ensure the work was nicely finished. I now have a beautiful smooth driveway, with adequate slope and expansion joints. The light gray natural concrete color has a very minor variation, I expect it to look uniformous after a season or two in the sun.
