Couldn't be happier with the job Jamie did!!! It was tough trying to find someone who could do both popcorn removal and painting at a reasonable rate. I didn't want to organize two contractors. Jamie came highly recommended , lots of positive reviews and was able to complete the project within our timeframe and within budget. Right from the get-go I knew we made the right decision. The amount of prep and protective measures Jamie did was above and beyond what I expected. Not only that, he was very courteous and well equipped. Jamie finished our project a day ahead of schedule which was awesome and left our room impeccably clean. We'll definitely be having Jamie back to continue onto the next phases of popcorn removal and paint when the time comes and I have no reservation in making recommendation.

We were completing the nursery for our first baby and decided to go all out with a feature wall with different layers and depths. Something I just wasn't keen on painting myself. We contacted 4 highly reviewed painters(including A Cut Above) in the area and Clayton & Kelly stood out from all of them. They actually took the time to come out and see the feature wall to give us the best quote possible and understand what we wanted to accomplish. They also were one of the most competitive bids. Communication was always prompt, and we were never chasing them to get answers to questions, nor were they pushy in trying to get the business while we waited for other quotes to come in. Clayton & Kelly scheduled the work to be completed within our schedule when we wanted and were able to finish the job faster than we expected. They were also the same two to come paint, as they don't use subs. The took the extra time to tape and cover the entire room as they were using a sprayer on the feature wall and there was no messes for us to clean up after. The nursery looks fantastic, and being in a new build, there's lots of other rooms we will be wanting to get painted and won't even hesitate to have them back. They were very professional and meticulous in their work. A+

We came across PFD online while looking for wicker patio set. their site seems a bit sketchy as it's only a few pages, and prices were nearly 50% less than other places, so we actually went to visit their showroom in TO from Ottawa. The business is family run with helpful friendly owners. The furniture is good quality, comparable to anything found in big box retailers and sometimes better. The prices are remarkable given their direct sale operation and are cheaper than any big box, or discount outlet. We purchased a conversational set and they shipped to Ottawa very fast (3 days - over Easter). Everything is fantastic and we've received numerous compliments with neighbors asking where to get their own. The furniture is comfortable, and well built. we haven't had any issues.
