I was very impressed by Ryan's knowledge and customer service. He came highly recommended by a friend after a big box store messed up my order, took my money and left me with nothing. His prices were comparable to other stores. The time from ordering to installation was two weeks. There were a couple of problems with the size of the blinds and the installation times but Ryan was very helpful and even offered to even come and do the installation himself on a weekend. He was in touch with me throughout the process, responded quickly to phone calls and generally made sure everything went smoothly. The windows look gorgeous now and I'm very pleased with the blinds.

My house has terrible storage and I wanted closet organizers to maximize space and minimize disaster zones. Amos came highly recommended by a family member and his quote was several hundred dollars less than the others. I also liked that he gave me a quote on the spot. The closet installer arrived on time, was polite and worked quickly. He was able to dismantle the awkward, stone-age shelving unit that was installed by a previous owner and didn't charge extra for the surprise. He left a bit of a mess afterwards -- trailed bits of pink insulation around the house -- but nothing a good vacuuming couldn't fix.

I had a problem with a pipe that was too short and Enbridge was threatening to shut off my gas. Marc responded very quickly and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. Very clear about what caused the problem (Enbridge's fault) and how to repair it. Friendly. I would definitely use him again.

Serge was supposed to do a spring cleaning. He came recommended by a friend to clear up the winter scruff in my garden. It took him a long time to come and do the clean up. He did the work and it looked fine afterwards, but I got a bill for double what he had quoted me at, and I was never told that some of the clean up was above and beyond the original quote. (Had I known that answering yes to the question, "Maam, would you like me to cut this tree a little more?" would cost me 50 bucks, I would have said no. Wish he'd been more upfront about the extra costs.)
