Gabriel completely changed our 3rd floor bathroom to a beautiful one. His work was at an exceptionally high standard - more than my wife and I could have hoped for. We saw the degree of care, diligence and professionalism he put into the project and the result completely transformed our bathroom. The room, especially the shower, is now so welcoming that all family guests choose to walk up to the 3rd floor to use it! The project involved tricky levelling of the bathroom floor, floor tiling, shower wall and floor tiling, walls, a special pebelled plastering repair for the wall around the window, light fixtures, marble framing of the shower foundation and installation of a tall toilet, pedestal bathtub, vanity, faucets and the shower tap, hose, fittings, glass walls & door. In addition to his professionalism, Gabriel and his father are both a pleasure to work with - leaving the work area tidy at end of day, keeping us informed throughout and real gentlemen. We are lucky to have had them work on our project.

A big thank you to Brian Young and his team, Rick and Ricelle who came yesterday to repair some peeling that occurred on a galvanized metal section of our house that Brian's team painted last October. Because this is on the front of our house it was creating a real eyesore but Brian was fantastic in saying he would come fix it immediately on my bringing it to his attention. Rick and Ricelle came yesterday and were very polite, professional and careful - the same as Brian's team last October, The metal section in front now looks as good as it did when finished last October! Thanks again, Brian, for your actions in addressing this and for you and your team's professionalism. Your approach to everything we have worked on together continues to give me and my wife confidence and comfort.

Once again we went to Ron and Clarke Turnbull this time to replace worn bricks and stone window sill which were hurting the look of the front of our home. Their team was very polite and did a tremendous job choosing the bricks to use, replacing the worn bricks and finishing the stone to match the rest of the front. And they even tinted some of the bricks to make the colour match even better. You wouldn't know the bricks and stone sill were replaced. All looks good - crucial for the front appearance. I would recommend Turnbull Masonry highly. Not only do they keep a high standard of work and are happy to return quickly when small touch up work is needed, they are excellent in communicating. Thanks from me and my wife to them for their good work on our home.

Joe at Persian Rug Specialist saved our carpet. In December we went to Persian Rug Specialist as a last chance to see if anything could be done to fix what used to be a beautiful deep wool Chinese carpet ruined when we had it cleaned in London England just before moving to Toronto. The cleaners used industrial strength chemicals and the blue background came back completely faded. When we arrived in Toronto we thought we had no hope but checked Homestars in case there might be a professional rug repairer. We spoke to Joe and he was very honest and gave us great comfort in explaining what he could try. He offered to die a tiny independent section that would not stand out and, if we liked that, could then die the entire blue background. The sample he did looked OK so we asked him to do his best. Yesterday we saw the final result and we were over joyed - Joe and his team returned the entire background to its rich blue colour and have saved our carpet! Thank you very much Joe, We are thrilled and intend to use your company for cleaning our carpet in future

Bill Tang has been 100% professional with us and has instilled this in the team that worked at our house, led by Ken and Tim. This was completed in October, 2014. From his estimate visit we were comfortable we were dealing with a knowledgeable professional electrician and the results proved that. Throughout the job, we were kept up to date as to status and the job was completed well. His team were, besides doing a great job, extremely polite and extremely tidy. Bill and everyone have a great work model in terms of quoting, work ethic, tracking actual cost against quoted cost, billing and communication. I can truly recommend KNT and thank them all for their work at our house.

Riti did a wonderful job replacing a fallen mirror on one of our bedroom doors and replacing the other so it would be safe too. Rajat was great in the way he reassured me that everything would be fixed and he came through completely. I would definitely use Riti again - very honest, polite and professional. (We had to ensure our bedroom doors were made safe against a similar accident when the one mirror fell off the door, crashed to the floor and shot shards of glass everywhere. This was very dangerous. Luckily our grandchildren were not in the room. Now we have 2 door sized mirrors safely attached to our bedroom closet doors!)

I want to thank Ron Turnbull, Greg and Tony for the excellent work November 13 and 14 on our side wall and chimney - brick replacement and mortaring on the wall and fixing the bricks and cap on our chimney. I know how busy it is in the lead up to winter but Ron committed in October when he provided his quote that he would find time to get the work done. That gave us great comfort and he was true to his word.. When Greg and Antonio arrived I was well-pleased with their good manners, professional work and tidiness. I also thank Homestars: over the past 9 months I have relied on their reviews to choose tradesmen for deck, bathroom, electrical and masonry work and I know how useful the review information can be. My wife and I highly recommend Gabriel for his professional skill and approach over the 12 days renovating our 3rd floor bathroom. Thank you Royal Decks for the great carpentry workmanship, tidiness, professionalism and willingness to address on-site questions with excellent solution suggestions. My wife and I both highly recommend Steve and Harley. And I also highly recommend Miro who handled our preliminary request and, even though very busy, communicated excellently throughout from early specs, spec changes until work commenced. From the point work started Steve and Miro both kept us informed until work was completed last Friday.

We want to thank Joe for his excellent work, ridding us of nasty wasps spoiling our enjoyment of our new deck. My daughter and son-in-law had recommended Joe on 28th July and on 29th July Joe came and effectively destroyed the wasp nest inside our soffit. Three weeks later and still no signs of wasps.
