The quality of a contractor is also measured when things go wrong. In my case, the main condenser unit was delivered from a supplier in rough shaper. Richard, the owner of Home Comfort Canada, who was well into the installation process, called around and discovered that the product is scarce (being early summer and COVID related supply chain issues). He scrambled to find a replacement - and was even proposing a solution that would have cost him more. In the end, a unit was found. This is along way to say how much attention and care was paid to my situation. And while it did delay the installation's completion by 10 days, it was clear Richard made every effort to rectify the situation. As far as the rest goes: his advice on where it's best to position head units and the BTU output for each - based on my house's configuration and my needs - were in retrospect, spot on. The system is now active for well over 2 months and I could not be happier.

From the first moment of contact, I received a high level of attention and care. Sypros was courteous, approachable and prompt right from the get go. Every message sent was promptly returned throughout our interaction. He took the time to explain various technical aspects and pointed out where I could save money, and where necessary investment is important to the longevity of the new deck. Coordination was a breeze and the team showed up on time to start and complete the removal of the old deck and installation of a new one. Finally - when all was done, Spyros took the time to walk me around the completed deck, ensuring all my questions were answered and that there was nothing else that needed from him. He wanted to make sure all was delivered as promised. Indeed it was! Highly recommended.

Just before Canada Day my fridge died. I called around for service but not surprisingly, availability was scarce. Yevhen on the other hand, showed up later in the evening, provided an accurate description of the issue and proceeded to try and then succeed fixing a control board problem that (using a soldering iron!) I'm convinced, some other technicians would have recommended I replace altogether - and which would have taken days to do and many more hundreds of dollars. Kudos.
