Our house is a on the older side, and to be honest, we are just not keen on the idea of moving away from a house that we love. But I do admit, it needed to have a facelift. I called a few companies, like you are supposed to, to get some quotes for painting, flooring and so forth. I got AT Hardwood Refinishings from a Google.ca search, looked at their site and called for a quote. Omar came out, provided a quote and after we debated on who we would use, we booked. They came 3 weeks later to start, first thing was they brought in all the equipment, and started to do the sample area for us. I wanted to stain the floor, but also could not decide on oil or water finish. Omar put down samples on the floors, so I can see what the finish product would be, so my decision would be easier. Once I picked what I like (dark walnut stain, with semi gloss water base finish) I signed the work authorization ad gave the deposit. They worked diligently and long hours. There was dust, but I always would come back to see them vacuuming and cleaning up. They put up plastic so it was not so bad. The work was done in about a week. I paid the balance and now can slide across beautiful dark rich looking floors. I took a bunch of their cards and told them I would give it to anyone who asked. They are great guys, hard workers, and really funny. When they had their lunch breaks, we would sometimes chat. It is nice to see businesses like this still thriving.
