I have used Consolidated Moving and Storage for all my moves over the years. Last January 2023 they did a partial move from a house to a condo across the city in record time of 3.5 hours. This last time they did a hellish move from a house to a cottage with a stop at a storage locker for a partial unloading. With the final stop they had to move a piano and pool table down a gravel hill to the entrance. I cannot even begin to state what an incredible job they did. Bryan, Dason, Eric and Rick were efficient, careful, calm and good-humoured the whole time. They even took extra care to better wrap some pieces before they were loaded onto the truck. Jackie in the office is delightful, pro-active and diligent in making sure that everything is in place so your move is seamless. HIGHLY recommend the whole team for a great move experience.

I have used Fairney and Sons for years and am never disappointed. This time they did a new concrete floor in our basement and parged the walls, installed a new bathroom and built new fencing on a second floor deck. Special high praise for Adam and Shaun (and team) who did all the basement and parging work. They were timely and left the place amazingly clean and tidy every day and at the end of the project. As with everything Bill and the team does it is first rate. Bill is always available and very responsive. He also recommended a great electrician for related work and when we had an emergency rad issue, he was able to arrange for someone to come in without delay. He is the only contractor I would recommend. 12/10 stars!

This is the second time I had GK Electrical in to some work. The first was part of a reno. This time was to do knob and tube replacement in several areas in our century home. They were exceptionally thorough and even identified places where I thought the knob and tube had been replaced previously by other electricians, but wasn't done or done incorrectly. I feel like the house is very safe now from an electrical perspective. They also installed a number of new light fixtures and our ESA certification passed with flying colours. Timely, thorough and very quality work from George, Nick and Peter. Cannot recommend them highly enough! Five BIG stars!

We are extremely happy with the work Bill and his team did on what was a particularly challenging job. The quality of the work done was outstanding and they were even able to restore some original brickwork. Everyone was very professional, on-time, cleaned up every day. They exceeded our expectations and we would definitely use them again.

Matt and his team did a great job in reinstalling lighting after a deck reno. Also installed a new outdoor fixture and replaced knob and tube. Work was really well done. Showed up on time. Cleaned up after they left. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again!

We had a lot of different items to remove including construction waste, large concrete parking barriers, a metal shed and a fridge in our basement. Marc and his partner came to quote and was able to do the work right then. Other places who quoted seemed to feel that the concrete and fridge would be particularly challenging, but Marc said they would be no problem....and he was right. They were able to remove all of it very quickly. I was stunned that just two of them were able to remove the concrete with no additional equipment and they were quite patient and helpful as we attempted to remove the exterior door to get the fridge out of the house. Their work was top quality and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Armando was very thorough and professional. He did an excellent job at explaining the problem and provided several options to resolve it. I was really happy with the service level. It was quite messy and he did a great job of tidying up. I would highly recommend him.
