Thanks to Heather and Aaron, and the crew. Like many Torontonians, the ice storm and frigid weather in early 2014 wreaked havoc on our trees. One in particular had us worried because it had grown at a precarious angle, and was infested with carpenter ants; a recipe or disaster if we had another windy icy winter. We had reached out to a company who had limbed the tree the previous year, but that went “Pear-shaped” (to avoid using that company’s name)… Their failure was our good fortune. I called Toronto Tree Removal, and Heather was out to investigate in an hour. We wanted two trees removed (which we are replacing), and two other trees limbed to avoid wind-fall damage and to discourage critters. The estimate was within reason so we engaged the work. Heather put us in touch with a great Arborist who managed the City Permit process for us. Once the permit was approved, the crew was on site in two days to fulfill. The guys were fast, clean and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Toronto Tree Removal.

I found Doctor Rooter here on Homestars, and was impressed by the 10/10 rating, and great reviews. Water was coming in my basement at the front of the house. Oleg and Bill were very fast to respond to my call. They diagnosed the source of the water that day, put in a temporary measure to hold back the source, and then returned the next day to begin the waterproofing work. The rest of the house was done at previous time, and it seems the water was held at bay there, but found its way to the unprotected part. I was happy to see they used Delta Brand waterproof membrane, since my research showed this to be the most reliable. The workers were polite, and clean for the most part (as far as piles of dirt can be clean) I am happy to recommend Doctor Rooter, and will definitely call them for future plumbing and other work. (We are thinking of lowering the basement floor. Is there anything these guys don’t do?)
