Do you want/wish a company that can do an excellent job, professional installation, at a reasonable cost? If you’re like me and most people, you have been overcharged for subservient work performed - you can appreciate knowing a company that doesn’t. If you are tied of being overcharged and being told that this is the best that can be done, stop buying into it. I have always had a strong work ethic and respect others that do. You do the best you can for a reasonable cost. Shutters On The Beach is that. Ten years ago I had them install shutters to the front rooms of my house - living room an two bedrooms. A few years ago I had my living room changed and the existing shutters didn’t fit. So l tried for a few years with curtains. Then more curtains and more curtains. Why am I doing this? Shutters were nice, easy, open and close. I searched my files and found my old receipts. I called. Their last job was meticulous, so I called. They came, measured and I added an extra room, shutters on garden doors. The pricing was reasonable, and very similar to my old bills? Sceptical- always! I believe pricing should be based on materials, work involved and labour! That rarely works nowadays. But sometimes it does! And those people and companies should be applauded and are few and far between. My shutters were installed, professionally and workmanship - impressive (and they colour match your decor choices). Tried and true - professional, accurate installation, respect for your property and value. I’ve used them twice, so far and I still have more windows to update and will use them again.

Dessano Stucco - did my house (bungalow). The front had been done a few years earlier by a company who didn’t use any insulation product; they said they couldn’t because house was brick! Dessano redid the front properly and the rest of the house. I had a retaining wall and planter garden that was attached to front of house removed. Rather unsightly as the rest of the was pristine. They came, repaired the existing wall and did proper stucco procedure and perfectly matched to existing. Their work is top notch. It’s hard to find reliable companies and workers nowadays. So when I find someone I can trust, I believe in sharing this information. Decent pricing, hard working individuals, who leave your property better than they found it. Detail to work is important to me - because if there is a slight flaw, I will see it. I do love a good work ethic.

Came to unhook current gas range and install new range. Advised that he could not under current configuration of cupboards beside the range. Not conforming to building code or gas standards, THOSE WHO REMODELING YOUR KITCHEN TAKE NOTE. Advised I has range installed 10 yrs prior and nothing was said, he advised that if I had had a fire, my insurance company wasn’t obligated for any costs associated, because it was not to code. Phoned the TSSA to confirm. He was right- I was not to code. 30” above the stove and 18” from counter to upper cupboards beside the stove. The gas code is now under the building code, as of 2015. Gas code from what I can gather has been in effect for about 25 yrs.! Luckily, I has fake panels to hide under cupboards lights. I removed them which gave me height and advised Steve, and he came back (very promptly) and unhooked the old stove and connected new stove and setup, including testing. Building codes are in place for a reason, for safety and the safety of your pocketbook. Honest and reliable service. Now I just have to fix my walls.

I purchased a new gas range. Steve came to disconnect old range and install new. I had previous range installed 10 yrs ago, in the same house. He came in, looked at range -and said he couldn't touch it! HOMEOWNERS - read carefully! Gas code states that there are set clearance measurements for a gas range that have been in effect for numerous years. Then in 2015 Building Code added the range codes (gas and electric). You require 30" above the range and beside the range - counter to cupboards 18" minimum. Nothing is grandfathered in. If you had a fire starting from your range - your insurance doesn't cover you!! Steve advised he couldn't do the work until the cupboards were in compliance. Luckily for me, my cupboards had a decorative trim (4-5") that could be removed, therefore putting me in compliance. Otherwise I would have to do a kitchen Reno $$$. Just have to repair some wall areas now. If it wasn't for him, I would never have known. The previous installer never said anything! My old range was disconnected and he placed unit on a mat to ensure my floors wouldn't be scratch. Installed new unit and put all the pieces for the stove top together (nothing is fully assembled anymore) . 905-317-3321

Professional! Precise, value for money. Removed retaining wall, dug deep - then came crushed stone and screening. A lot of measuring accurately. Protected lawns from damage and added soil and seeding around perimeter. Cleaned up after and were always polite and respectful. Have used a number of Landscaping companies that always missed the mark. Finally found one that hits the target objective and presently looking to replace previous failed projects with Black Valley Landscaping.

Troweled out area for edging and removed grass and soil. Laid continuous concrete in slate finish. Clean, professional and excellent work. Thick and wide to keep grass away from planting area.

Job was estimated to take 2 days and that's what it took. Not without some hiccups though. Not the installation or installers - but working with a older home. 2 layers of laminate floor butting onto ceramic tile in the hallway and older ceramic in the kitchen. Different levels. A solution of adding plywood to the living and dining rooms levelled out the areas to the hallways. Installation went smooth and with precision. (i.e. Flooring is staggered). Loved the attention to detail, which is very noticeable beside the stove. This is important when you're a very picky person.The owner was extremely attentive to any questions I had and the installers worked with precision, worked quietly (good when you have dogs), properly cleaned up the work area, inside and outside where the cutting was performed. They moved the major pieces of furniture and appliances, unfortunately moving all the smaller items seemed more like moving and still reorganizing not too take away from my beautiful new floors.One thing I did notice - my floors now feel solid! They are engineered hardwood. I never thought you would noticeably feel the difference between laminate and hardwood - because flooring is flooring right? Wrong. Sound proofing -extra benefit.

Your staff was great. Friendly, fast, efficient and quiet. Less intrusive then I expected. Showed me pictures of before and after. All in all a good experience. Will call you again for my next cleaning.
