When we moved here in Ottawa we shopped around who install furnace and A/C then we found HomeStars and it's in here we checked this Menard Rick Heating and Cooling. We hired this based on the good reviews of their pasts clients. In Jan 20, 2014 the guys Gaston and Michael installed the furnace, changed fireplace from wood to gas, changed the old ducts and in late spring of 2014 they installed the Air Conditioner. These guys did really a great job. During the days of their work since it created a big mess they always let the house neat and clean. They were nice and respectful guys. After all the job done they gave us advised about maintenance, how and what to do incase something problem. When we had a problem about Carbon Monoxide(caused by other guy that we didn't know) we called Menard's Office and in less than 10 minutes the guy showed up and helped with the problem. It's a year this January 2015 and we did enjoy and had no problem with the worked they done. The price is reasonable comparing to other previous quote. We are happy and satisfied and we will be always using their service for the maintenace. For sure we will recommend Rick Menard Heating and Cooling whoever needs their service. Ken and Jona

In Oct. 2014 we hired this company Ottawa Duct Cleaning base on the great reviews from HomeStars. As what the previous customers said on their reviews I completely agree with them. These three guys Derek, Jacob and Reuben they are humble, polite and respectful. They were careful with what they were doing in fixing things that they loosen or unscrewed. After they were done they showed and we inspected all the things they did.They cleaned their mess and same as clean when they came. When we moved to Ottawa last Nov.2013 we got a guy from one of the popular local ad to do plumbing but gave us trouble with the pipes he worked. We called him twice to fix and during the time he was doing his work unknowingly his gas tank was leaking. We didn't have CO monitor in the basement at that time because its under construction.The CO monitor upstairs started beeping and beeping, the plumber was still here and he us told to call fire dept then a few minutes later he left the house.The Fire department, gas company and Heating and cooling company who did our brand new furnace came to our house to check everything but all were in good shape. After 5 hours with the helped and advised of the people who came, the house was cleared so all of them figured out that it's from the plumber's gas tank. In Feb 25, 2014 one of the guys who was working in our basement at that time recommended Andrew to us. We called him to do re- routing of pipes and he did a great job and his price is very reasonable comparing to the price of the previous guy. We called him the second time to install our water filter and did some fixing of little things. Last Dec.15, 2014 we called him again to do cleaning of pipes that were clogged and did changing parts of some sinks. All these works he did for us we are really very happy and satisfied especially his price he is very reasonable. He cleans his mess and checked all what he did before he leaves the house. He is humble and very professional. We will be using him in the future and highly recommend him to whoever needs his service. In March 15, 2014 we hired Ray base on the high rate of reviews here in Homestars. He installed all the windows upstairs in our house and he did a great job. He did his job with care that there's no problem happened. He cleaned up his mess every time he's done.This experienced we had with him we hired him again last Dec.3, 2014 to do our baseboards and doors. These two projects that he did for us we are very happy and satisfied he is really a professional, even his price is very reasonable and affordable.
