My VentAHood performed and looked like new after it was serviced. I was referred to Glen Peters by our neighbourhood appliance store and was amazed at the amount of detail and care that Glen provided. He was knowledgeable, careful and meticulous. After taking apart each component and cleaning, he inspected the piece carefully. He did not rush and was so gentle in putting everything back, like it was his own. The blower wheels were dirty and clogged with grease. He felt replacing it was more efficient than cleaning, of which I appreciated, because time is money! I will definitely call Glen back, and this time, regularly. I highly recommend Glen for his knowledge of the product, efficiency and honesty.

Miles Pitassi and his crew worked steadily and efficiently for about 6 hours from 9:00 a.m. - 3 p.m., cleaning our eaves and windows (inside and outside). His young team of university and high school students were very polite, respectful, clean and tidy. They did a very thorough job making sure the glass and frames were dusted, wiped and dried. They were also very courteous, asking my neighbour, if they could put their long ladder on their property to be propped and was quickly removed, right after their area was done. When they worked from the inside of my home, they moved objects from the dressers and replaced them as before. Not one object was out of place. Also, I've had other window cleaners who weren't quick to reply to my request for a quote. Miles replied promptly to all my emails. His quote was reasonable. I also like supporting student entrepreneurs and that's why I used Student Works. I would definitely hire Miles and his team again and wish him much success in his future endeavours.

Their reputation precedes them, as my brother and a neighbour, who did exhaustive research and got several quotes, hired them to repair their roofs. Because I relied on their positive testimonials, I decided to hire Bland Brothers instead of shopping around. Brian, the owner and manager, was able to problem-solve the roof situation and even corrected the previous year’s roofers’ mistakes and sloppy work done on the other half of the renovated portion of the house. His quote was very reasonable. Communication between the company and me were expeditious. They returned my phone calls quickly and were accessible to answer several questions I had. Brian provided photos and we talked about solutions for every season. He was very knowledgeable and explained the technical aspects simply so that I would understand. He is a creative problem-solver as well as technically proficient; a perfect combination for complex projects. Brian gave me an accurate time-frame of the job from start to completion. The clean-up was amazing; meticulous and thorough, on our property and the adjacent neighbour’s. Brian and his father, Al, were onsite several times to oversee and inspect, which was more effort and care than I had expected. I would highly recommend Bland Brothers Roofing.
