However tough the project was (for our 3 piece kitchen granite countertop and island we needed a complex design, counter top heating and more). Tony made our dream kitchen come true. Not only did he help us the whole way through starting with the granite slab choice and design, he also did a fantastic installation job and left behind a wow-factor kitchen. We had a very bad experience with Sundance Spas and Pools (Newmarket, ON). It is an unreliable and unprofessional company. We would not recommend their services to anyone. The company owner and sales manager, Arnold, aggressively pursued our project for six months. On the 2nd of April of 2012 we signed a contract with him for an installation of a fiberglass swimming pool and an automatic cover and were promised to start enjoying the pool on the 23 of May (contract deadline). Arnold’s price was higher than those of his competitors, but he assured us that he was the best, the most experienced, the most thorough, the most client oriented. He was none of the above. In fact, the all-smiles sales person Arnold turned out to be our worst nightmare. During the installation of the pool Arnold was not on the site even once! Meanwhile, his ‘crew’ demonstrated their utter inexperience. They tried to install the pool for over a month and without much success. In the process they broke and patched the fiberglass pool and tried to hide this fact from us! Finally, on June 25 we received an email from Arnold saying, and I quote, “We are not prepared to offer an extended 5 year warranty on the pool, its installation and related work.” The installation of the pool and the cover was completed by another company, which we had to hire at that time. Arnold ruined our summer, breached our trust, did not finish the job and never apologized! No, we would not recommend Sundance Spas and Pools (Newmarket) to anyone!
